Good Trade.KVH is younger,more atheletic and has size.Not for Spree though.Use Spree in a sign n trade for a center.I would suggest a trade like Spree,Harrington,Ward for B.Miller,Al Harrington

The guy is due a small fortune over the next two years and isn't as good as Latrell Sprewell or Kurt Thomas. He's younger but, that's about it.

PIKE, all kidding aside, if u go stat for stat, KVH beats out SPREE, If u go age, KVH again, If u go size, KVH again. If u go poetntial, KVH, If u go future value, KVH. Think about it.

I agree a trade is best, but it's not happening. Also don't get wrapped up in the salary. It is what it is, and it should not determine who starts. We have two 2 guards on the floor at the same time and no bench scoring (that's why we are always blowing big leads). One of these guys needs to get traded or sit. If we can't move Spree (and it looks like we can't), we can't go another year with this lineup.

Why would INDy do this? Who would they play at center? There team becomes smaller. One of there PF has to play center. Great. Bird's first oder of business elt create a NY Knicks clone right here in good old Indiana!

Foster n O'Neal and i believe they have another center.Harrington is a hard working rebounder wit "D".Spree also would upgrade this defensive team along side wit Artest.

Why would you trade your true center, for Spree and start one mediocre guy or your PF at Center? The answer you won't! That's why trade is not happening.

Miller wants out hes out simple. then there would be a sign n trade cuz pacers wont let him walk for nothin.Believe me the Pacers are better off wit Spree than Miller n the Knicks need Miller more than Spree.b4 Miller got there Foster was the center doin a pretty good job.O'Neal could do the job even better.Brezec is a back up similar to Doleac.They would have no problems.

The San Antonio Express-News reported yesterday that the Knicks, Spurs and Sixers were discussing a three-way trade that would send the 6-10 Van Horn to the Knicks, Latrell Sprewell to San Antonio and Malik Rose plus another player, perhaps Charlie Ward, to Philadelphia

At least that's reasonable and fills a need

In defense of Vanhorn : Keith Van Horn's college coach believes the much-maligned Philadelphia forward can resurrect his career in New York.
"I don't want sound like a Little League parent, but Keith had some of his best years when he didn't have (Stephon) Marbury and (Allen) Iverson," said Rick Majerus, the University of Utah coach. "Those are two great players but they can be hard to play with because they monopolize the ball. I have always said that he would fit In WELL IN A PLACE LIKE UTAH! If Layden can deal for Van Horn without having to give up Thomas, that would prevent the Knicks from having to find a starting center.

I Know we can get someone other (read: better, not as goddamn soft as) than Feet Van Corn if we are gonna gouge out the heart of this team. When LayDown is finished with this team we'll consist of a bunch of punked-out chumps with no heart or fire. No more Utah-prone types please. We have more than enough of those types screwin' us up as it is.

We need more players with Spree's kind of fire, NOT less. Let's get out of that wannabe LayDown Logic while there's still a chance to.

Nobody wanna give the knicks a player to turn MSG out. Be FOREAL man. We have point guards who don't hog the ball so stop and pop players will do well on this roster. Vanhorn has size and experience that we lack at his position SF.
