Not a big Kevin Love fan...

I think the main thing D'Antoni being here does is throw Bayless into the mix big time. I've seen various mocks having Bayless going anywhere from 3 to 6 - if we get a pick that's either 3, 5 or 6, you can be sure he'll be on the radar.

If nothing else, this seems like a good lotto for D'Antoni type players - skilled offensive players who thrive in the open court and creating their own shot. I'd go:

1) Rose
2) Beasley
3) Bayless
4) Randoplh
5) Mayo

Agree on Bayless. He's more of a lead guard than a pure point but the guy is a tremendous shooter and we know how much D'Antoni values shooters. Reminds me a bit of Jason Williams when he was at Duke.

this is the list of players that are high on the list and why:

1.) derrick rose- perfect for his system because he is athletic and makes good decisions with the ball. out of all of the lottery teams, rose would have a better career in ny under d'antoni. only miami with wade and marion would be a better fit.

2.) jeryd bayless- i always loved him and followed his college career more than the others. he would benefit because he has a high basketball iq and also can score, like nash. rose can score but bayless has the range.

3.) danio g.- don't know much about him but saw some "you tube" videos about him. very athletic and can run the floor. he has range on his shot and a good passer. defense and strength are the major weaknesses which is a plus in d'antoni's system.

4.) oj mayo- an athletic combo guard who loves the spotlight. could be the poster child of d'antoni's system. turnovers are a big concern but he can score in bunches and can drive with the best of them.

5.) micheal beasley- an athletic forward who can do it all. could be a crown jewel in d'antoni's system. he doesn't have nba range yet but doesn't need it. i think he will do better than marion in this system.

What would you call NBA range for a Power Forward/Small Forward because can comfortably hit the college 3 and hit it well.
