But also to be the perfect KNICK, A player has to have more than just the skills...he has to have that OakleySTarksCambySpree-ness...

And for me, out of the top talent, only a few have that...Iverson, TMac, KG, LeBron.

Those are the guys I see looking 'natural' in Orange and Blue. Guys Oak would run with, and Clyde would tolerate.
I like all those players you named but that thoughness junk is overated. None of those guys have ring. Let's make the new New York 'ness SKILLZZZ. How about some guys who can put the ball in basket. I'll take any guy who can do that on a consistent basis. I tired of the "tough" teams that don't win.

That's cool but SOFT teams don't win either.

If a player does not have Fire AND Skill, then we don't need them. It's bad enough that Laydown wants to punk out the Knicks but fans with sense need to remember that we need players who ain't too shook to let their nutz hang.

Those who forget, need to recollect.
Another season, and more adversity to persevere through. We will get the job done, even BETTER than last year. GO KNICKS!

David Robinson and Tim Duncan use to be called soft, until the won. Kareem was called soft until he won. Softness is about winning and losing. If the Mav's manage to win it all no one will call them soft again.

I never called Duncan soft. He put that team on his back, and didn't back down. Robinson had his moments. As dominant as Kareem was (in his prime), no one would call him soft.

As for the Mavs, they won't win anytime soon. They play no real "D". They may score alot, but the opposing teams in the playoffs will score more points than them. Between SA and LA the Mavs don't have enough guns.

No brainer; I take Kevin Granet in N.Y. minute..I remember an article that i read in the nypost last year in which Garnet stated that he would love to play for the N.Y.Knicks,he said " imagine me in N.Y." Hey if he takes the mid-level for the 1st year then N.Y.can sign him; same goes with Kobe; the following year we'll sign the two of them for big money....sorry i was dreaming JUST MY TOUHGT'S... ONLY MY TOUGHT'S
I'd rather die on my feet, than live on my knees!
