First off Isles, this is NY. There will always be a ton of negative press and if Isiah gets fired of if he's retained, the coverage will be enormous no matter what. Secondly, lets stop worrying and just pray that you are wrong. I know we've had nothing but bad luck, but it's gotto change sometime. Isiah has to go.

Where's the negative if Isiah is dismissed completely?

Don't bother, there is none.

Yeah that's the exception. If Isiah is retained I will be pissed.

ESPN reports he's fired as coach but staying with the organization.

I hate this team.

Donnie thinks that Isiah staying in the organization is a good thing.

Donnie Walsh is a senile old fool.

More of the same. It's not over. The curse remains.

"He will have no official title
He's just there.
but he will provide meaningful input," Walsh said during a conference call.
And he doesn't really do anything.
"Isiah remaining a part of the franchise is important for the organization."
B/C Little Jimmy doesn't want to pay him to sit at home.

Well, can't say that I'm surprised.

And islesfan's and BlueSeats' beefs are 100% legit, IMO.

I wonder how quickly people expected them to reach a settlement with Isiah? The important thing is to get a new coach, getting rid of someone they owe so much money to takes time.

To me it doesn't give us 100% satisfaction, but it's a very clear step in a new direction. Isiah is not going to be calling the shots as GM or Coach, so does it really matter if he gets to sit in on some meetings with Walsh every so often?

We all know that not only does Dolan like Isiah, but Walsh does too. I think Walsh just couldn't bring himself to totally kick Isiah out of an organization TWICE! That's gotta be a tough thing for a guy to do to someone he likes. I'll give him a pass for allowing Isiah to save an ounce of dignity.

Now let's get on with the new.
