its going to be hard for Dirk to stay with D West on one good foot. Not only can he post but they run him off screens like a guard.

damn it, i posted my predictions b4 looking at the brackets. Did't realize that Cavs would have to play Celtics in the 2nd round, i guess Celts/Pistons is an inavitable semis. I would have liked to watch Pistons/Cavs tho.

In the west the showdown is gonna be a lot sooner, Hornets will have their hands full in the 2nd round against Dunkin and Co. The winner of that will face the obvious Lakers in the semifinal. and beat them to go on and lose to the Celtics.

One team that could make it into the final and really upset some teams are the Rockets i think. I guess we'll see

Washington had them beat.

Phoenix won't get out the first round let alone to the finals if Amare won't play any good man on man defense in the 4th.

Game 1 of the Spurs-Sus is an absolute classic. Wow. This is game 1 of a 1st round series? Unbelievable.

Diaw really fell off. What's up with the weak moves to the basket in two or three big situations? I don't get why Diaw is even getting the ball. That's one of the reasons why they got Shaq, I thought? He must be VERY tired.

that game should've never went to OT. Stadoumire's non existent defense allowed the Spurs to do whatever they wanted in the fourth qtr...

excellent game plan by San An.

hack-a-shaq till phx is forced to sub and put Amare on TD then attack Amare's defensive awareness every set.

But Amare was in big foul trouble so it wasn't really surprising that the Spurs took advantage of that. What an awesome game, game 7-like intensity, multiple overtimes, Shaq diving for the ball and missing free throws, Timmy with the bomb ! Best game 1 i've ever seen.

It's true- the fourth quarter on was classic and just got better. Duncan's three was unbelievable. The execution of the Spurs is so good in key moments and they really play as of one mind with their coach. D'Antoni seems like just a guy with a mustache yelling in comparison.
Still, game one. But it really said a lot. It will be interesting to see if the Suns can adjust and not get let down mentally. I think it will continue to be a good series.
If you are still following the team and reading sites like this, there is nothing, short of your own demise, that is going to throw you off this train.

Not only is Chris Paul the best PG, but he is one of the top 7 players in this league. The impact he has on the game and the way he imposes his will on the game and lifts his team is unbelievable.

I love watching this kid play.

just an fyi, the lakers/nuggets game has been bumped to ESPN2 b/c of the pope. (they aren't on EPSN2HD but just ESPN2)
