He's a nice player, but Walsh isn't going to do it. He's set a priority to get under the cap sooner rather than later and signing anyone to an mle won't be part of that picture. A sign and trade might work.

i suggested earlier in the season we go after camby and smith. it was only a matter of time smith would develop into the player you are seeing. i could care less if smith turns up the defense.....the guy is a pure shooter, period.

Artest is one of the best players in the entire league, and thats a fact, everyone gets a hard on for a player like smith, aside from scoring he brings nothing to the table.

The Kings are going to finish about 500 in the western conference and thats with bibby out pretty much the entire first half of the season, martin missing a huge chunk of time, miller down and artest suspended the first 7 games of the year.

If we can make a move to get him giving up balkman and another player why not, Smith thinks he is the man, he isn;t the truth he is another playground punk. We should be targeting two way players, like lowry or childress not JR Smith. Nate has value as a scorer and his fire is nice but he is always going to be a sideshow someone that celebrates a dunk down 10 headed for 24 wins on the year you don't win with punks. We need to get away from these types of players.

I would even move lee and curry for Marvin Williams, Nate for Lowry and start to move in the right direction with a younger core of chandler, williams, lowry, draft choice. Sign a big man like kurt thomas for the midlevel, to go with a new coach and a new attitude.

Jamal's better than JR Smith & Nate has been vastly improved this year, not to mention Q Rich isn't going anywhere for another year or so, so we're pretty much set at the SG position unless u're talking about bringing in a proven star sharpshooter like a Michael Redd in a trade for Zach persay, but since that's not gonna happen i don't wanna give JR a MLE contract just to be another redundant piece on this roster... we need a PG who can orchestrate, not another perimeter scorer... please pass on JR Smith.

JR grow up or is it that he has grown up in a contract year?
