I didn't know Rid Strickland is an assistant with Memphis. Maybe Rose learned some of his PG skills from the unselfish Strickland...
Thank you, Rick Brunson.

What a game. I can't even remember the last time I even cared to really watch the final game, but this one has been great.

I liked UConn-Duke in 1999, and I think I stopped watching up to Maryland's title, but this has been great.

Both CDR and Rose choked tonight late. Memphis really sort beat themselves at the end.

Rose missed a key free throw too and in overtime absolutely did nothing. He's the kind of player if he isn't involved offensively he doesn't appear to impact the game much. Very much a Marbury clone.

Let's give credit to Chalmers, Collins, and Arthur. They all played a more fluid and solid game from start to finish.

rose must've been absolutely exhausted, i don't know how you can blame him for 'choking.' he played ALL FORTY FIVE MINUTES against the best defensive backcourt in the country this year, got absolutely hounded by three of the best on-ball defenders in the country in robinson, chalmers, and collins.

CDR choked on those free throws, rose's first one went halfway down and bounced out and then drained the next, CDR's both bounced off front rim.

i still want rose #1, 18-8-6 and taking over down the stretch is as good as it gets. memphis should've won that game behind rose's dominance between 8 and 2 minutes left. then dorsey fouled out and KU stole that inbounds pass, i'm still in disbelief that CDR missed those freethrows unbelievable.

Powerful drive right, predominantly offensive point guard. Anyway your boy lost don't fret too much. He'll be drafted very high if he declares. I just hope we don't draft him to be our point guard of the future.

i am honestly just embarassed by the negativity of some of the people on this board. disappeared down the stretch? he played forty five ****ing minutes being hounded by chalmers, russ robinson (rice HS), and sharron collins who played d-back in college for a year. to say rose chocked is ridiculous. CDR should've made the free throws, he's a junior and is their leader, rose absolutely CARRIED memphis for about 8 minutes and put them in the position to win the game, CDR should've iced those free throws

Rose is a very complete player- definitely not aanother Marbury. He had trouble getting into the lane once Dorsey went out. Wasnt he also playing with some kind of flue?

I hope we do. My boy? The kid has talent. Who is your "boy"? OJ Mayo? Don't make me laugh.
