At the same time Donnie doesn't have to do anything to appease Dolan. He has more respect across the league than Dolan and he's backed by Stern. If Dolan mettles like he has in the past with Walsh you best believe Stern turns this joint inside out. If anything I think getting rid of I SAY UGH does more for this franchise's reputation than keeping him to display goodwill. I think outsiders are looking at us to see if we're finally going to be for real. Getting rid of I SAY UGH completely would signify this, more than any other move we could make. Dolan hasn't been overly concerned with wasted paychecks in the past no need to display it with I SAY UGH.

Dolan is Donnie's boss, so sure he does.

The one guy who always seems to take offense to other teams supposedly embarrassing his team when they lose, goes ahead and preens around like the classless moron that he is as his team "improves" to 21-56.

After Donnie dumps Isiah once and for all, he can get rid of this mental midget next.

Your true colors show, huh?

Weren't you one of those guys who touted every decision by isiah until approx a year ago? I remember you on the RealGM boards, we had a lot of beef over isiah's decisions until all of a sudden, one day you started sounding just like isles and the rest of the haters. You were also very dismissive of anybody else's opinion who actaully knew that the franchise wasn't even close to bottoming out.

Donnie Walsh gets hired, a brand new era is about to begin, and you still hate the franchise.

The Knicks embarass the Magic, Nate puts a punctuation on a game where jackass Stan Van Gundy spent 5 minutes purposely fouling the Knicks hoping we missed FTs so his sad sack of a team could crawl back into it.... and Nate threw down a big fat F-YOU.

And you're upset.

You're no Knick fan and that's obvious.

You're going to bitch and moan all summer and all next year, the year after that, because you're just like the people you attack: You want some miracle guy to come in here, fire everyone on the spot, and find a way to trade the entire roster for the 92 Dream Team and only when we're a 72-10 team will you start cheering for them again.

You have zero patience and you do nothing but hate on every single player we have.

That is absolutely PATHETIC.

You asked me twice about who I am talking about in two previous threads in regards to attacking Walsh before he even did anything here?

I ignored you because I thought it was obvious given the replies in various threads regarding the Walsh hiring. Just in case you're that dense: you're one of them.

Quit hammering our team.....

You were (not too long ago either) one of isiah's biggest supporters. I remember you from the RealGM boards. I stopped posting there because of the just ridiculous isiah love that goes on there. I came back one day and then all of a sudden you finally realized what 90% of knick fans knew, That isiah has ruined the franchise and weren't even close to bottoming out yet and you started sounding just like isles.

You were 100% wrong on how things were gonna shake out with this team, you didn't even have the integrity to stick to your guns. You turned tail and turned on your boy isiah with a quickness.

Great, nate the punk threw down a dunk in a meaningless game with 10 seconds left. We should all cream our pants now.

You are PATHETIC. Calling someone a hater and not a real fan because they didn't get excited over a stupid dunk. this isnt the rucker or the and1 tour. It's the NBA. Win games, Have a direction, Have players that respect the game, respect the uniform and have some class - people will get excited.

I spoke my peace on this

Completely and grossly Incorrect top to bottom. In December of 2006 I gave up on Isiah Thomas and the Knick roster. I got roasted for doing so. Even had over-zealous mods suspending me and deleting my threads. So, you're wrong.

Since you're apparently clueless I will explain reality to you.

I supported Layden's firing and gave Isiah the benefit of the doubt in 0304 to show us something - and he did. I felt 0405 was derailed by a few early injuries combined with whatever transpired with the Lenny "resigning" situation. Larry hired summer of 2005 along with 3 seemingly nice draft picks was cause to give the team the benefit of the doubt - of which if I recall 99% of the fans did. After the Larry debacle I felt that Isiah should be given a chance given how bad the Larry year turned out - through the end of December 2006 - to show us whether or not Brown was truly a purposeful disaster that ruined the team's chances to come together and whether or not the team had a chance to succeed with the man who brought them here.

When we got blown out by the reeling Celtics and Sixers in early December I gave up on my 33-game-end-of-2006 date where as a fan I'd think about the team and it's future --- and turned on them.

At least know the actual history of my fandom before calling me out on it.

Now, as to calling me pathetic - what was and is pathetic - and such theory that has been supported by subsequent wins - is fans TRASHING our players who have played well recently and DESTROYING the franchise for winning a single game - and a couple of games late in the season. It's pointless to go on like that given people like YOU demanding the team wins or loses games has absolutely no bearing on whether or not they actually will. It's also pointless to rip them for a couple of wins this past week - when they won 19 other games spanning the entire season.

And finally, you can take your nasty attitude and shove it where the sun don't shine.

Dolan is Donnie's boss, so sure he does.

Hey, he works for him, so no matter what anyone thinks, he has to answer to Dolan and please him in some way. That's just life.

However it's more than apparent that Dolan is prepared to give Walsh complete autonomy from Steve Mills, discretion on the new media policy, and freedom to make any and all changes that he desires. That's not to say if Walsh wants to do something outrageous that Dolan won't call him on it or maybe block him on it - but - I don't fear Dolan's meddling as much as I did with Layden or as little as I did with Isiah --- as Isiah had full control to do whatever he wanted, anyway (except for the media policy).

I think the opinion of some that Dolan is going to interfere on every little thing, so, "why care about Walsh he will just be a yes man" is off base.

Nobody knows if Walsh can turn this mess around but he's a new guy coming in and he's apparently been given the necessary power to get things done.

So, in that, I think it's time to forget about Isiah and Dolan for a while and be patient with Walsh (at the least 18 months time) and see what his plan is going to be.

I speaking in terms of walking around on pins and needles. I don't think Walsh fears Dolan's power whatsoever. If Dolan starts up with his usual tightening of the screws, micromanaging.. Walsh will Up and Adams from here.

Actually what's pathetic is calling someone out and then ignoring when they try to explain to you, rather nicely I might add, why you're completely off base with your accusations. Obviously it's because you have no defense for your baseless claims but are intent on perpetuating them as you wail about how unfair everyone is being to the Knicks when nothing could be further from the truth.

That's ok I guess, but stop your ****ing whining when others call you out.

Explain what? How you hate the entire team, every player, every coach, everyone involved in the franchise, the owner, all fans, all media, and even the new incoming president?

Yeah, that's a tough one to figure out.......

Whining? The only people WHINING are people like yourself who say your a fan, then proceed to hate on EVERY single thing every chance you get.

People like you are going to be HILARIOUS as we continue to stink for several more seasons while Walsh at least attempts to fix what Isiah screwed up.

You might as well pack it in and just return in 2010 or 2011 when (if) the Knicks are finally on the right track and winning games and then you can continue being "A Knicks Fan".

I've never seen such absurdity as I've seen on Knick forums the past week or so. Blasting Walsh before he even got here. Crying about the Lotto. Trashing players who played well in these recent games. Going insane over wins. Rooting for opposing teams and their chump players.

It'd be funny if it weren't so disturbing.

Have fun simmering in your endless misery.

Nate is a part of the current dysfunctional group and is part of the problem.

The special player he is is also what makes him a problem to build a winning environment with.

Put him on the Spurs and he'd get in line, so he has value to some teams. But we need some prideful players who care about winning over the bravado of the occasional victory. Dudes that come from winning and demand it.

He's young, he grew some this season, and he might continue to grow. He's maturing albeit slowly but if he continues to mature he'll make a nice player off the bench in the long run for us or for another team.

Nate isn't the problem but as long as guys like Marbury will run amuck, Isiah will instill a disasterous environment devoid of accountability and maturity, and you have guys like Zach and Crawful chucking anytime they choose - then impressionable youth like Nate will likely act more immature than they ordinarily would.

No reason to hate on Nate. He plays with that type of passion whether it's a game winning shot vs Philly, a final punctuation on a 10 point win, or a dunk while down 27 to the Lakers. That's just who he is and how he reacts - with emotion all the time.

You got all of that from posting a link to this video. Why delve into other topics unrelated to the video?

Answer these questions honestly

Is Nate a Hypocrite for showboating?

Was Nate acting professional in victory?

Does Nate's actions reflect on Nate's growth or lack thereof?

Should a fan get mad at another fan for being disappointed over Nate's actions?

Seriously, is it possible for you to base anything on fact or do you only go by bogus generalizations?

Go find me anything where I've been less than cautiously optimistic about Donnie Walsh coming here. The only thing, and it's a HUGE thing, that could be mistakingly miscontrued as being negative is what I think the situation would be IF Isiah was kept in any capacity. Notice the qualification, "IF Isiah is kept".

I know you'll just ignore this and keep on talking out of your ass with your baseless claims because you feel some deep seeded need to defend all things Knicks, to the point where you don't think fans have the right to be be even cautiously optimistic.

Last time with this ridiculous argument.

I'm not going to root for my team to lose games. I'm not going to hammer any of our players that happen to have good games. I'm not going to go out of my mind over winning a couple of games late in the season.

I've got no problem with people suggesting it would be in our best interest to have lost a few more games which would result in more ping pong balls yet what I find ludicrous is people trashing our team over it. Especially given that the lotto is just that - a lotto - and not a concrete listing of draft positioning based on final record - and that there is no telling if the player you select at any given spot 1-5 will go on to be a star - or go on to be a bust.

Do you get that? Or do you just want to take another wicked dump on this thread while pretending I have no idea what's going on here - or that I'm some kind of fake fan, etc. etc?

As to Isiah, I have no idea why you're even talking about him, this thread is not about him - yet I do make a correlation between the people who are incensed over winning a few games (against both horrendous teams, and a team resting it's starters mind you, situations that have led to the 19 other victories this season, this is no surprise) ---- and those who are already sour on Walsh over him going home to Indy to tie up loose ends (of which those people perceive to be a man who isn't doing his job in NY - as if he'd do anything of consequence in 5 days on the job at the tail end of a murderous season) - and perceive him to already be a yes-man JUST BECAUSE he said he will take a cautious, respectful, and methodical approach to addressing everything from Isiah Thomas to Mardy Collins to George Glymph to the Media Policy (of which people want to pretend is Walsh being a "yes-man".

If you don't get that or where I'm coming from with that I can't help you nor anyone else crapping in this thread to understand.

Since I've repeated myself far too many times I see no reason to reply anymore to this crap.

Go on, boo the team, trash the franchise, and claim it has a higher purpose. It doesn't for you or anyone praying for losses or booing the team when it happens to squeak a win out - has no actual bearing on whether or not they will or won't do so.

The chips will fall where they may and in the meantime I will continue to be happy to see guys like Nate or Chandler have good games. Even Crawful has had a couple of decent games as of late.

I refuse to boo that just because this sudden cult of insanity has arisen in the past week over a few wins.

I guess it is impossible for you to base anything on fact and you're going to continue with your bogus generalizations.

Have fun.

And it's not ludicrous to want your team to lose as many games as possible when you're 35-40 games under .500 with only a few games left. Of course it's a lottery but YOU IMPROVE YOUR CHANCES when you lose more games than the other lottery contenders. Is that too difficult a concept for you to wrap your feeble little mind around? Apparently it is.

Called Jamal... Crawful after Walsh stated he likes Jamal's game and have been telling us not to put too much stock into what is said in the media... Donnie will have the best interest of the team in mind when making decisions.

Honestly, I don't know how you made it this far. I'd have stopped bothering weeks ago.

I don't know...I kept watching just to watch. If I watch a future game I will vidcap and upload it. Chances are I won't be watching much the rest of the way. Why bother? They stink, they're chumps, they have no heart, Isiah is going nowhere fast....so what's the point of tuning in? Maybe catching them on a once in a blue moon good night? To witness the 19th win of the season? Screw that......

So is the rule we can only bash... if they lose?...if you feel it's ok?...or when something is said by someone else in the media?...or if it's not against the younger players only against the choice vets? Why do you make fun of Crawford who's probably had his best season as a pro?

It's alarming you don't understand why fans are disappointed in Nate's immaturity. Just because the team won and he had a good personal highlight doesn't mean he can't be at fault, but oh well I guess.

Um, yes, I call Crawful...Crawful because he is god awful. What does this have to do with bashing a team that won a game or players who played well in those games?

I'm lost.

Edit: I also am well aware of Nate's immaturity and touched on it in this thread and other threads over the course of the season.

So I'm confused as to what you're getting at.

Fact of what? That you and others bashed the team and players who played well? What circle of lunacy are you driving in?

Too difficult of a concept? You mean the concept I touched on in half a dozen posts in this thread that you purposely ignore just so you can be a dickhead towards me?

Feeble little mind? Go back to stalking NBA players on their blogs and pretending you're some sort of cult hero or voice of reason.....it's the only thing you do well.

I'm glad someone gets the gist my post...you know...instead of getting all bent out of shape over the draft and then attacking me over it. Good grief!

With Walsh here it's time to put down the hate, support the kids, and give Walsh all the patience you can handle and hope he does the right thing the next few season to give us something fun to watch and to cheer for.

Let's go Knicks!

Did people bash the TEAM, PLAYER, or did they bash the ACT from the PLAYER? I don't understand what's so confusing?

How about the fact that I never attacked Donnie Walsh like you claim I did. How about I wasn't bashing the team or the players in this thread, just the moron who decided to rub it in an opponents face after the countless times that he objected to teams allegedly doing it to the Knicks.

Cult hero and voice of reason. I like that combination. Kinda like the Dalai Lama of this board. Big hitter the Lama.
