given 2 years our cap situation looks a ton better. LJ and Longley I think have come off the books this year already. KT,and spree just have another year left, knight and ward contracts expire after this year. That is a lot of Jack off the books, oh and Dice contract expires after this year also. Kurt Thomas comes off too. HE has a team option where the knicks can void his contract and he automatically becomes a free-agent. I don't think thats gonna happened cause he's getting traded. As for Spree, he could become a free-agent too but he would have to excercise his player option agreement which i don't he will do. If he did,he would get less $ on the market..
