"Comon now, you can't beat that."

Actually, 29 NBA teams beat that Steph.

I wish I can give that moron screaming "Yes Sir" a piece of my mind. I'd toast em.

I thought I was the only one......I hate that new slang phrase. I bet the guy saying it was closer to 40 than 20. What an ass.

Zach to Cleveland for Eric Snow + Joe Smith and a first rounder.

I like.

Awesome idea evil!

I automatically think of David Lee and our backcourt. Eric Snow on the bench is invaluable. Nate and Collins have never had a guy to teach them the position......Eric Snow is the vet to do it. Also a dude like Joe Smith has seen it all and went through his own demons in his career. I think he's showed a kind of rebirth to his career this year in chicago and in clevland. He may be focused on winning a championship and knows what he can do to play his role. David Lee needs that type of guy on the bench with real experience to support David.

The culture around the team has to change. These type of deals are lateral but they boost the moral of the team and allow the youths we want to develop.....to actually develop.

Any good team has that balance between vets and young guys....look around the league.

Anyway good idea, buddy boy.

I still say make no trades. Why? Why not let Zach play here next year and earn some of that money? We're not going anywhere next year. Walsh said it himself. Let Zach build some numbers up and package him after next year. Keep the money invested into this team right now. When the LeBron time comes, make trades or buyouts to make the cap flexable.
I'll never trust this' team again.

if Donnie manages to trade Zach for ANY one w/a shorter term contract he should be named GM of the year.
After 7 years & 40K+ posts, banned by martin for calling Nalod a 'moron'. Awesome.

Zach and filler for KMart and a resigned JR Smith. Git 'er dun.

will never happen as KMart is playing well. Please stop with the one-sided fantasies.

"Git 'er dun" ain't the way it works.

Ain't your trade. And luckily the new GM who brings this newfound respect doesn't agree that your "it ain't your money" philosophy
is the way it works either.

Trades and buyouts don't make the cap flexible (unless you're trading for a player with fewer years left, which no team will do for Zach unless we give up something huge). If we have a chance at getting Lebron as the time comes closer, we're gonna have to give up something huge to get a team to give us a shorter contract than Zach's. It's gonna have to be something like Lee and a whoever we get with this year's lottery pick if that player becomes a very good player. And if that gives you a shot at Lebron, you have to pull the trigger.

I would trade Zach for Mickey River, Ron Guidry, Brien Taylor, and Roy White. We can get anything in return for Zach and Eddy but garbage so dont think someone is going to give us anything but a bad contract or a bad player
