I don't get why people are so nervous about Isiah staying right now. I haven't seen anything that suggests Isiah will be the coach here in the long-term. Yes, he'll probably stay here to finish out the season as coach, but who cares? The season is basically done anyway.

Walsh isn't the type of guy who will just come here and bow down to Dolan and Isiah. Walsh will have full control and he will bring in HIS people. I can't possibly believe that there is anyway Isiah will be coaching here next year. The only scenario where I can see Isiah staying is in a minor front office role like "scout" or "assistant to GM," etc.

We're nervous because once upon a time, Isiah was one of HIS people.

You are right about that. Once upon a time Isiah was one of his people. However, Walsh then let Bird just fire him without a second thought.

Walsh isn't stupid, there is no way he lets Isiah coach next season. If I'm wrong, I'll be screaming for his head just like you guys. I think everyone should calm down and at least wait till the press conference for some more details. Either way, it is very likely that Isiah just coaches the rest of the season and is then moved to some minor front office capacity in the off-season.

I don't think anybody is getting all riled up. Not at all. I think some people are just cautiously optimistic and want to see Isiah gone completely before we believe that things are really going to change for the better.

Getting Donnie Walsh is a nice start. Getting rid of Isiah completely is the only true start. Anything else is window dressing.

I agree with you Isles, I really do hope Isiah is removed completely from this organization.

I definitely don't see Isiah sticking as coach, but hopefully Walsh just removes him completely.
