I honestly don't know why we don't waive him.....other than this stupid franchise still willing to green light an expiring contract trade for someone else's trash.
I certainly would never expect this franchise to have fiscal responsibility and to do the right thing for a classy veteran and cut him before March 1st so he could have joined a good team and help them in the playoffs.

Kinda makes me sick...on all counts. Watching him play. Watching the chance to trade his expiring. Watching him have to stay on this joke of a roster.

Dude, your whole post is a contradiction. First you talk about how bad he is -- and you're right! -- and then you talk about him "helping" a team in the playoffs?? I mean the only help Malik is offering at this stage is carrying other players jock straps.
No, it's not a contradiction at all. Here he's trying to carry a load and trying to get through to a team full of idiots.
If he went to say Dallas or SA or Orlando he could help by being a leader from the bench and help by giving just a few minutes - which is all he'd get anyway - in spot duty where he could just come in, disrupt the opponent a bit, then site down.
That's what I'm trying to say here.
