So instead of moving on, people created an entire issue over nothing simply because of my reputation. Nice.

no dude, people are just disagreeing with you. Drop it already.

no offense to you, but can't u just post all this stuff in a single thread? we get a new "This guy is the top talent available" thread every week.

Because now I feel 100% confident that I'm right on about this. I siad mark it down IF we PASS on Thabeet we will REGRET it.

Oh looky here, a variation of what I said. The only problem is that some here simply dislike me and with my reputation that kind of comment comes off as mean. That's not a problem though, just pointing it out. Enjoy your day guys.

i knew u would bring this one up... if u noticed i made a singular suggestion to BRIGGS, never trying to be obnoxious & never being overbearing the way you seem to get towards people who're only trying to spur original discussion... this has nothing to do with people not liking you... i'm sure none of us even know you... the suggestion wasn't directed at a single individual either, it was a comment made to refer in general to the overall clutter of Draft threads we see on this forum from several people... i made the suggestion because i felt it might conjoin these discussions & make for better discussion... i didn't tell someone they needed to stop posting new topics because they post more than 2 a day, as if that were some imaginary limit imposed by the mods... i also haven't posted idiotic threads like "I don't like Fred Jones' face" in the recent past like you & trying to sit here as judge over what other posters should or should not be posting on this forum.

i find it funny that you take such offense whenever i direct criticisms your way & yet never seem to respond in kind to others when they reflect the same sentiments... i guess you must either enjoy arguing w/me specifically or you don't like my face.

but since u simply cannot manage to ignore me the way you keep saying you will i will assume you enjoy reading my posts & continue to voice my opinions or criticisms of you whenever i see fit... have a nice day too & Happy Easter.

Hmm interesting I created a thread for ideas of how we can keep closely related discussions more organized into maybe a handful of threads and got attacked for it. Briggs obviously enjoys the attention. I don't care as long as it doesn't clutter up the board and create confusion of conversations previously held. It's a good tactic by Briggs from the standpoint it allows one to change their minds 100000000000000000000000000000000 times before the draft takes place and then declare themself as some genius. And it makes it more difficult to recall what was stated because one can't find the exact thread in which a specific discussions took place. The tournament shouldn't enhance one's opinion that much if one truly has an eye for talent. I mean Beasley's team didn't make it to the sweet 16 so does this mean he's not a lock #1 pick?

That's alright because after the draft takes place, I'm going to create quite a few off-season FA and trade threads and nobody better not complain about it.

All that needs to be said is that if I made the same exact post that I posted that I quoted before I would still be insulted, chastised, and called a hypocrite simply because of a reputation that precedes me. I agree with you though and that was my point originally.

Now seriously, you know that somehow you got a way to get on ppls nuts right?!? I mean I dont want to offend you, but obviously you are clever enough to see that pattern right?! Ive been around here for a while not posting much but Ive enjoyed reading this forum dayly for years now and in general ppl treat each other quiet respectful and well mannered... (well not all of 'em right!!! ;-)
So my point is that you might actually look for the reason of those insults in your own behavior around here.
Just as an example, of course you can voice your oppinion but telling a guy like BRIGGS who is widely respected as a great poster around here in the forum, to stop opening up so many threads is just... well its just not a way to make friends! ;-)
This forum I came to understand is sooo much like socializing with people in real life!!! First you got to earn some respect from you peers before you can start loud mouthing on their turf.

popularity & respect is earned by posting good content on a consistent basis & respecting other posters' views even when they aren't in line with yours... if some posters don't feel they're getting the respect they would like perhaps it's time they change the way they conduct themselves on the forums & reconsider their approach towards other posters... just a thought.

I'm not concerned at all with how I'm perceived, especially not by you. I'm referring to when someone brings an idea to the table it shouldn't be frowned upon because it's a suggestion against a so called popular poster. Hitler could wake from the dead right now and inform the whole world humans need to practice the Golden Rule towards others and and he'd be right. Who cares who the message is coming from or who it's against if it's a reasonable one.

Like I said I better not hear one word when I start up threads this summer about potential off-season moves. Not in case that is Martin and Andrew have a problem with it only because they Mod the board. Matter of fact in the past I've been accused for Crying LOL out loud of hogging the board with too many thread starters. I can only imagine what would be said if I were to do what Briggs has done or continues to do.

I have 7,000 post of informative material yeah ok.

Vdesai made an NCAA Tourney thread, then for whatever reason it has been stickied.

So should we make posts about the NCAA in the stickied thread or continue to create our own because we feel we have more informative material to bring to the forum and satisfy our ego?

I've read several of your post Briggs all I was saying is if you feel like talking about Beasley, Rose, Thabeet or whoever else why make a separate thread on them every other day? Keep posting in the original thread you made if the discussion is closely related. Isn't a major point of discussion to follow those discussions?

I think the two guys from real GM should realize they are not on realgm. I've never heard a complaint of someone posting too much or having too many threads until the last two days although Ive been here 6 years. If you want to start your own site--I'm sure you can do it.

The day this board becomes less of a popularity contest is the day it will become that much better an experience. That's why I politely created the thread I made a few days ago, overall I agree with what you said.

popularity & respect is earned by posting good content on a consistent basis & respecting other posters' views even when they aren't in line with yours... if some posters don't feel they're getting the respect they would like perhaps it's time they change the way they conduct themselves on the forums & reconsider their approach towards other posters... just a thought.

Well since you have posted nearly as much in me in 4 less years I think you have had a good opportunity for your I SAY Ughs and everything else>>>>> Knicks posts. I try to bring reasonable content[except for this worthless jibber post] every time I put something down riught or wrong. I havent postyed 7k times why i think ISUGh stinks:) Cheers:)

Isn't a major point of discussion to follow those discussions?

no offense to you, but can't u just post all this stuff in a single thread? we get a new "This guy is the top talent available" thread every week.

Because now I feel 100% confident that I'm right on about this. I siad mark it down IF we PASS on Thabeet we will REGRET it.

I'm not from RealGM (I posted there but I post more at another Knicks forum) and I am not the first to tell you this. You seem to take offense to a simple suggestion. Nobody asked you to stop posting, that you suck, or anything else. All someone said was to try and put more in one topic because then some things get harder to track. That's all. There is no issue here.
