Was the 1997 Knicks team their best team of the 90's? Even better than the teams that went to the Finals?

I think that team had a very real shot at beating the 72-10 Bulls in the Conference Finals. If nothing else that would have been an epic series. I'm still bitter that we were robbed of seeing that.

I've always thought the 93 knicks were the best team of the Ewing era. but 97 was just as, if not more painful than the 93 loss.

Who cares? The question is why are you still wasting your time watching this crap? I can name a million things better than watching the Knicks, including watching re-runs of A Simple Life with Paris Hilton(you'd have to be really desperate but when it comes to the Knicks nothing is off limits).

Same here and well fugg it...I'm going to tune into tonights game. I got nothing to lose I know the season is over so whatever I'll just try to enjoy it and hope something dramatic happens. (You know, like the Knicks losing 36-34 in overtime LOL)

Hey we're losing!

Still just the half (at least according to NBA.com).

Looks like Nate and Craw had a decent half together, and The Mayor started again. Lee and Zach with decent numbers too.

I am definitely in the "let's play well but lose" mindframe.

I wonder if anyone is watching?

I'm not even near a TV, working on a paper that I wish was done with...sigh.

Time to get back to it...

The Knicks are up by 14. I hate how retarded this team is. Why is everyone always dying laughing? WTF is so damn funny? Morons.

Anyway, this was an expected win for sure.

I respect Riley more for tanking than Isiah for trying to win now. I feel as though Riley cares about the future of his franchise while Isiah is just collecting a paycheck till he gets fired.

This should be counted as a loss for both teams regardless of who finishes with more points.

They don't have to foul but more than 24 seconds left, but they do.

If this team isn't desperately trying to lose, I don't know who is.
