earl, it's like we are finally getting the Nate we saw in Summer League.

If he has a big OT he could get 50.

Prez - Nate has been on a steady path to self-realization all season. it's the rebounding and assists that make him special.

Jamal better watch his back.

chandler is a real player- wish he had been getting playing time from the start of the season.

but then what would we do w/Jared Jefferies? he's so indispensible to our team's success

And Q?

Q can at least play some 2G... we shoulda had Wilson & Balk dominating the time at SF all season long, but in true Isiahesque fashion he goes with the least sensical move & has the young guys we should have been developing from the very beginning wasting away on the bench all year.

TMS - like we noticed, the Summer League team played with passion and unselfishness

I would have been happy to keep the Greene from Colorado with the gold kicks

play the damn yoots indeed

earl, you are definitely right that Nate has been developing all year, and now he was given a shot to show what he can do with the rock. Clearly this has been his best season as a Knick.

So, even if we lose, but we lose playing well, especially some of our key young guys.

i am willing to bet this team would have at least the same record, but most probably better had Isiah just played that Summer League roster all year long as our starters, & all of their trade values would be higher now meaning our franchise would have had more tradeable assets... but who cares about playing the yoots when we got so many awesome veterans who need their stats?

Lee gets big minutes and produces as well.

5-11 FG, 14 points 14 rebounds and 2 blocks, 0 TO's.

Chandler 27 min, 3-6 fg, 8 points, 2-5 3pts, 4 rbs

What are you talking about? Where would this franchise be without q--rich? He's the glue that holds this whole thing together.

I shameful confession to make. I actually wanted the Knicks to win this game. When they play the way they did tonight, it makes me want to root for them.

it's hard not to root for them to win also when i see them busting their butts on the floor for every possession... but in the end every loss is a positive for us... at least we're seeing our kids get some real meaningful minutes & can gauge if they can be part of our longterm future here even if they lose.

Anyone notice how Morris was completely not enthused on the bench when Nate made that circus shot to take us to OT? Balkman, etc. were flipping, but Morris way in the back was ice faced.

That's body language that concerns me. I fear he may bolt.

I don't quite get the logic of sitting him other than fear other teams will sign him. Wouldn't someone anyway?

I wanted them to lose in OT and have Nate get 50.

lol @ being BANNED by Martin since 11/07/10 (for asking if Mr. Earl had a point). Really, Martin? C'mon. This is the internet. I've seen much worse on this site. By Earl himself. Drop the hypocrisy.

Nate definitely did his best to get to 50, u could tell no one else was gonna take any more meaningful shots in OT as long as Nate had the ball... he wanted that 50 bad i think... also wanted the W too obviously, but i think he's happy w/the performance he had, & rightly so.

Just a thought... couldn't Morris have helped up on the boards tonight?
