JR in a contract year might have matured, or he is just keeping it down.

Bring him to NYC (jersey is hometown) and maybe he grows up, or maybe he becomes JRBury.

Unless your clearing out Crawford and bringing in a LEADER at the point, then WHY?

We have a neccessity for a big guard who can shoot. If you can provide me with an answer of a player who can be had with similar skill sets size shooting % that is an unrestricted FA--lay it on me.

could someone please just kill me that we couldn’t have drafted morris almond and given him a shot? sloan wont' play the rookie, but sent him to the d-league where in 24 games he's averaging 25.7 on 44% fg, 35% 3pfg and 82%ft. this after a 4-year career at rice averaging 49%fg, 44%3fg, 82%ft and an increased scoring avg every year (26.4 in his senior yea)r. 6'6" 225. was isiah "not prepared" for him to drop like he "wasn't prepared for " marcus williams?

He can shoot but he's very slow footed. Chandler could very well be the better player.

Funny how many called him a knucklehead at the start of the 2007-2008 season, but now he's Superman.

How quickly the fans opinion of a player changes during the course of a season
JAMES DOLAN on Isiah : He's a good friend of mine and of the organization and I will continue to solicit his views. He will always have strong ties to me and the team.

If only i could cut and paste on this phone. I wanted this kid when the Hornets were shopping him. Think I made 2 threads and 2 different occasions. Either way I would love to bring him in and ideally pair him with Derrick Rose.

Randolph?
Lee
Chandler/Balkman
Smith
Rose

It's very difficult to watch this team and say we don't need another big 2 guard--along with a SF and a C and a PG:)

We cant go into this draft and take a small SG with Jamal Nate and Fred Jones--they are all smallish in their own way. We don't have a reliable SF--we dont have a PG-- as of now we dont have a C because if EC has surgey he will be 300 pounds+

JR Smith has a lot of "peoples" in nyc. I'm not talking H&R Block either. Harlem's EBC tourney he was a superstar out there. Plenty of sick dunks.

Anyway, I think he has a cloud over him. I wonder if its cuz of his "peoples". He's been traded a lot in his short career and Byron buried him, while George Karl has tried to bury him.

JR Smith is still a really good player. He is young Ricky Davis clone, just a little tougher. Knicks would be lucky to get him at this stage of his career.

Unless he develops an Andrew Bynum work ethic, 325lbs to 265lb
