Despite todays Papers, Lampe and Vranes were no shows for practice! This will be harder than we think to get Lampe. At least he wants to come not like that sissy Milos! Trade his rights to GS in a sign and trade for Arenas.

I can't believe this post comes from someone as smart as you, Gony... Arenas is going to sign a near max contract (probably with Denver) or some deal with GS guaranteeing he'll get it when they clear room... we can't afford a new bag of balls let alone Gilbert Arenas. One of the truly great rising STARS in this league.

Pike, I dream of Arenas on the Knicks! I can only hope so does Layden. IF Arenas is leaving no matter what, why can't Layden call up GS and tell them that they can have their future PG in Milos and throw in a 1st round pick and then the salary too match? It will never happen, but it IS the best thing that could happen to NY now. KT, Ward, Milos and Pick for Arenas. KT is cheap, Ward is in his last year. Milos has potential and a pick is a pick. Actually there is not a Knick on the team I wouldn't trade for Arenas.

And Milos is a sissy! He can play here already. He is just afraid. Why else would he not be here?

Arenas/Sweetney/Lampe - Future

Fill in with MLE of ODom and you have yourself a very good team within a year or 2.

Gony... we have as much chance getting LeBron James... it'll never happen... thus, it can only be a dream.

I'm with you though... Gilbert took Latrell's place in my book (as favorite player) and you know how much I love Spree.

Most likely money. Give they guy a break already. Maybe he likes Europe better. Maybe he has an agent that has an agenda.

I agree. The kid is looking out for number 1. He is getting a million dollars of guaranteed money there now. He would only get minimum rookie wage here for 2nd rounders. If anything blame Layden for not giving him the $1 Million exception he used on Doleac.

Man... I'd think about moving back to New York for that... nah... not really.

LeBron's happy in Cleveland... and I think he's going to make Darius and Ricky a lot better... more focused... amazing coming from a kid... but this kid has an NBA body and I've seen enough... he very well may be the next Michael Jordan... he actually looks to me to have the athleticism of MJ and the ball handling and passing genius of Magic Johnson... this kid could be the best before all is said and done.

pike about lebron nba body and ability, dude my name is not karnivore, i can see the obvious.
i be suprised if carmello is better than lebron lebron is the truth. where is swish he is a hater.

lebron is happy for now dog but let him play a full season of losing, then two seasons, then let him play 4 seasons of losing then he will we 22 and lived all his life in Cleveland, slighty more interestin than buffalo, and we tell lebron you think you the man now, imagine all the endorsements in new york,

Yopu will be the most endorsered play ever. we will tell king james no one wants to conquer cleveland. we can get this kid. the gm's should defintely give it a try we got 4 years.

Vujanic a sissy you are so right. The man will never wear a NYK uniform much less a NBA uniform. He is nothing but a punk. You guys are hanging on to false hope that is what he is false hope. all I hear is just wait until he get here your gonna be waiting until your grey and old because he ain't coming he has no intention of coming to the NBA. Even if the punk comes when he is 25 he will still require 3-4 years before he puts up decent number in the NBA. There isn't a team in the NBA that wants him because they are wise to the agents and vujanic's game. Use the NBA to hype his contract in Europe. He is a heartless player at best. Why would you want a player who wants nothing to do with you favorite organization. NYK is much bigger than a Vujanic. If the right deal comes along and Vujanic name is mentioned I would throw him in a deal with out hesitation because he may never come to the NBA. Hanging on to a false hope will only cloud the teams judgment.

ARES: to say leBron might be the best all time is far from stating the obvious.

VMART, calm down. You're missing a few points...

1) he is getting A LOT more money in Europe than the Knicks were willing to pay him

2) my guess is, he'll turn out to be A LOT better than Frank Williams

Be careful what you ask for... you may get it... especially with Layden making the calls.

Mark my words... we trade Vujanic, 3-4 years from now he'll be a top point guard in this league.

We were both down on LeBron before most knew who he was... agh, if only he were a Knick... would wash away ALL the disappointments!

Btw, the second best thing the CAVS did was NOT to hire JVG!! Man, I see LeBron starting point guard this year... with a bigtime uptempo offense... we already got a glimpse of Darius on the flank... I can see Ricky flying on the other side... ball has to be in LeBron's hands... after two summer league games I can tell you, he's the best passer since Magic... possibly the best court instincts I've ever seen.

No he has no intention of being a Knick. If he really wanted money he would come here and become a free agent quickly and try and get Gilber Arenas money. Become a restricted player quickly and make serious money he would quadruple the money he gets in the Euro League he is actually throwing away money by being there. What it tells me is that he isn't confident in his skills to think he can handle the NBA. He sees his friend Marco Jaric struggle and he wants no part of it. He would rather be a king in Euro League than be just another player in the NBA because that is what he thinks he will be in the NBA just another player. Now if he has a subpar year in Italy there is no way he sees the NBA he is willing to take that chance which should make it clear that the intention is not NBA for him.
