What website? YOU don't know what you're talking about, not me. Thank God we don't have you runningt he team if you'd waste a top 10 pick on Hasheem Thabeet. Jesus.

Yeah me and every other GM currently in the NBA.

Nice. Go try and insult someone else buddy. I watch college games. Every year there is one dude that the Knicks board jacks off over. This year it's Thabeet, a couple years ago it was Sene. Get my drift? Whatever. Think what you want, I can't stop you.
Thank you, Rick Brunson.

Why are you so hostile

If you re-read this thread, you will certainly see that the tone you took with me with your initial post was less than pleasant and for honestly no reason.

And no, this whole board isn't "jacking off" to Thabeet, a few people like him, and no, I don't remember people "jacking off" to Sene.

If you can't have a civilized conversation while entertaining the thoughts and ideas of other people on this board, I suggest you stop visiting.

Uh...no. Mid-late first round is where he's slated and it's where he will go. This guy is another raw player. Saer Sene went 10 in a very weak draft. This guy ain't going lottery. Not every shot blocker with no offensive skills at all pans out. For every Dalembert there is a Ruben Boumtje Boumtje and a Mamadou N'Diaye.

Just you watch, I guarantee Thabeet is not only a lotto pick when he comes out, but he's selected in the top 8. I don't base all my results off of some website, I actually watch the games, if you did too, you'd know how he's not "just another raw player." Watch the next UConn game(Sat, 4:00 vs Cincy) and tell me he's just another raw player. He's already the best defensive player in this draft if he comes out, which according to Briggs, it sounds like he will.

My tone was appropriate for this post.
Thank you, Rick Brunson.

I responded like that after your FIRST post in this thread which was...

It was angry as hell and I took exception to it.

Is that supposed to be serious or sarcastic? There's nothing angry about that post. It's a regular post.

Whatever dude, I sensed a lot of anger and "you better be listen to what I'm saying" in it.

It's over now, Briggs thread has been hi-jacked enough.

1.Eric Gordon (w/our first pick)

2.Joey Dorsey (w/our second)

regardless of what people say, gordon IS as much (if not more) of a point than rose. he has a sweet shot, and although he has hops he does'nt always use it, sometimes it's all body control. and not to mention he seems to run the team better regardless of the fact that he does'nt technically play the point.

dorsey on the other hand is the exact type of player we need next to curry. (if kiki is to keep him) and he can in time slide over to the center spot when lee comes in. or he can sub for curry, if he can beat out james for that backup spot. oh wait, james should be injured by that time anyway.

We better pick this guy if he's there. I will be absolutely livid if we pass on him.

my draft board is:

1. Derrick Rose
2. OJ Mayo
3. DJ Augustin
4. Brook Lopez
5. Ty Lawson

if the Knicks can't get Derrick Rose and get Mayo(SG) or Lopez then they need to trade even if it costs Lee to get another pick to draft either Augstin, Lawson, or even Collison

This seems to change every other day with this draft class but right now..

1A. Michael Beasley
1B. Derrick Rose
3. Anthony Randolph
4. Eric Gordon
5. Jerryd Bayless

My personal favorite choice for the KNICKS is Rose. He's the perfect fit for what he Knicks need, in terms of play an attitude. That said, at pick one you have to take Beasley, even if you intend to maybe trade down you cannot simply pass on Beasley at one, his value is to high.

chances are the Knicks won't get the 1st pick ... but if they do then they should get Beasley and trade Lee + fillers for another pick and get Augustin.

I think Nate should be considerd a main core piece now so you don't want another under 6 foot player other than as a bit player/third back up type.

This thread has become irrelavent. You got guys not putting Beasley and Rose in the top 5, it's ridiculous.

Are we putting the top 5 based on our opinions, or based on who the Knicks should take ?
