I write to you'all from an internet cafe in Manila. OK, got enough of my Ulitmate fix for the day. Off for some yummy food.

You seriously in Manila?

From The Family Guy:

Joe: Say hello to our newest narc.
Quagmire: Oh, yeah? (to Brian) How good are you?
Brian: (Sniffs) You're back from Manila. You had lumpia for dinner. Then you made love to two Filipino women. (Sniffs) And a man.
Quagmire: You mean three Filipino women. (Brian stares blankly) NOOOOO!!

if you guys have never been there, you gotta go to the felix bar on the top floor of the peninsula hotel in kowloon. go take a leak in the mens room there. if you’ve been there you know just what i'm talking about. if you haven’t, you’re in for a treat.

ha! ok, you shamed me into it.

the men's room at this bar has a giant plate glass window overlooking all of hong kong harbor (which is an amazing sight lit up at night) and you pee into a fountain standing there commanding the view. great incentive to keep drinking so you can keep peeing

I know what you're talking about, I was there back in October/November. The whole place isn't really my thing but I wanted to see it. Very unique urinal system but it has changed somewhat from when first opened/installed.

Phillipines, I want to get back there but I hear there's trouble there these days. Have you run into any problems? The areas I want to revisit are further south, I think that's where most of the trouble is.

What trouble? I'm going there to visit family in Cebu.

You talking about Mindinao with the Islamic stuff? That's been going on for awhile now. Everywhere else is pretty safe.

Yeah, I'm envious also. Hadn't been there in a while. Yoyogi is crazy on Sundays, very popular park. I'll be going to Hong Kong later this month. Might try to get to Japan next winter. U Da Man...... If you have a lady/girlfriend/wife....you will be tested

I'm going to be in Hong Kong later this month too on my way to mainland China. When are you going to be there? Maybe we can not hang out.

Hopefully I will be there between March 18 thru either the 26th or 28th. Still waiting on some last minute stuff to pan out. Where are you going on the Mainland?

Land in Hong Kong on the 21st and then going to Shenzhen for a few days. I come back to Hong Kong on the 29th and flying back home on the 30th. I'm basically just flying in and out of Hong Kong, not doing much there.

Not a whole lot of time, it'll take you a day and a half just to get adjusted. Shenzhen is becoming quite a business area. Sounds like more business than pleasure trip. Hope you have a good trip. Looks like my trip will now be more toward the end of the month if it happens at all.

You always have to add a little bit of pleasure when you go over there. I'm usually pretty good adjusting when I go over there, I can hit the ground running most of the time. Coming back home is when I feel it.

Thanks, hope you have a good trip as well if you do go.

I'd heard that it was more widespread than the south area. I want to see what Olongapo looks like now. I haven't been there since 1979. Just curious.

I was curious what Cebu looked like so I google'd it... it looks beautiful, this is where you're going?

Mind if I come along?

Yeah, I have family there. Whenever I'm in Asia I try to get over there. They have some of the nicest beaches in the world and money still goes a long way over there.

All are welcome. Except for the Wrong Answer Man.
