I heard the rumor that Isiah has won Knicks from Dolan in Black Jack during drunken party and planning to use the club like rehabilitation and retirement bad for all troubled, broken, and obese players of NBA.
His charitable plans were secretly endorsed by NBA executives, GMs and owners. The lists of players including but not limited to Ron Artest, Darius Miles, etc. is in the works.

Warn us about what? I've said it before, if he comes back I'm finished and so are many others. Right now it's a waiting game.

I feel an extension coming.

I believe Dolan is doing what he and Thomas did to Brown - forcing him to play out the string with the intent to fire him in the off-season. Dolan is all about embarassing his underlings who fail him - he's a real class act and an astute business man. But after all we've seen, isn't it clear Dolan is more about his personal vendettas than any business common sense.

The one point in that article that makes sense is the third point: Dolan may want to avoid the embarassment of having the one year anniversary brought up in papers. The record since that extension is something horrendous, like 24-60 right? yick.

Spite: Thomas is daring them to fire him.

Maybe now the season is lost mathmatically Isiahs contract has a buy out clause?

Sheridan has good logic but logic does not prevail in the house that Little Jimmy ruined.

Don't do it Dolan!!! Don't you dare fire Isiah. You'd be an idiot to fire Isiah. Don't do it!! We all agree that Isiah is the best and that if you fire Isiah, the Knicks will never be good again. [/reverse mojo]
lol @ being BANNED by Martin since 11/07/10 (for asking if Mr. Earl had a point). Really, Martin? C'mon. This is the internet. I've seen much worse on this site. By Earl himself. Drop the hypocrisy.

I have a bad feeling in my stomach.
I could just see Dolan firing Isiah, and phucking up the hiring, and we being screwed for ANOTHER 5 years.

Ugh.

I have to agree with Bippity and Jones. The Knicks de-evolution of the past few years has been way too dysfunctional for me to think that there is going to be a positive and professional resolution to this catastrophe of a season. Dolan seems to be allergic to good decision making. He's proven that. At this point my only hope is that Zeke is going to somehow draw upon his his championship days in Detroit and right this ship. Please god, somebody propose a slam dunk trade proposal to Zeke or give us some lottery ball magic. We need to get into the miracle business.

I don't know about being so confident about the 2nd part. For what its worth, when we hire Scott Layden, his reputation as an executive was impeccable. Well respected, always mentioned among the top GM's. With Dolan's directives, we know how that turned out.

IMHO, Dolan will step back & give the new GM a bit more room to operate.
