I'm so numb to this team, that I don't even know what I think anymore. I have a feeling that Isiah is staying. There's no way Dolan is being rid of his powers. (PS: Charles is equally as big a douchebag.) We're still looking for the quick fixes and Isiah is still decieving Dolan, or so it seems. Is this a punishment to Knicks fans?

Of course it's good to still be a fan - you can be a fan of the club - and hate every single player and those in charge. Why? Some day these idiots will be gone and there is always an equal chance that whoever takes over brings in players you can root for.

So, there's no reason to just stop becoming a fan but rather, a reason to stop watching for the time being.

Nothing wrong with that and ignore anyone who claims if you don't 100% support and love the players and coaches that you're not a fan - for those guys - are illogical.

Trueblue, you're digging your own grave right now man and Kam is KOing you. lmao

Is he? It looks more like Kam has some kind of scary obsession with details of Trueblue's life, manhood, and fanhood.

True, honestly, I thought when you first came to this board, you were informative and made good posts. Now, I think you desperately want to be the villain on this board and be more vilified than Isles is. It just seems that alone is your goal, instead of making some of those same posts you were making when you first came here.

Edit: If I'm wrong please forgive me. Just an observation.

^^^ From a BULLS fan.

No

MJ, Magic, Payton were my favorite players growing up. I started liking the Knicks when they had Spree, Camby, and LJ.

I've lost all respect for you. How can you root for Michael Jordan and the become a Knicks fan in the same era? You sir are weird.

How old are you TrueBlue?

Old enough to remember some good Knick role players from the past like Kenny Sky Walker, Trent Tucker, Gerald Wilkins, Bill Cartwright, Derek Harper, Xavier McDaniel.

What's funny is out of all the players I liked growing up and believe it or not Patrick wasn't one of them as a Pro, although I loved him as a Hoya his was the first pair of player kicks I ever wore. I think I still have the pair at my moms house and if I do I'll take a picture of them and upload them on this site.

So you're in your mid to late 20s and you rooted for MJ?

Does not compute. You were one of those guys who was rooting for the Bulls against the Knicks weren't you? MJ fan. I hated MJ's guts and so did any other self-respecting Knick fan.

I'm actually older.

Hey you can be mad at me all you want. Another funny thing I didn't like Michael as a collegiate player. I liked Pat/John Thompson more. I started liking Michael the season that led to him dropping 63 on Larry Nerd and the C's on the Parkay. I was like ok this guy is sick. I got her started on M.J. and boy the rest was history for her. I remember watching playoff games with my mom wanting the Bulls to win but when they played the Knicks telling her Patrick needed to be respected. She thought the Knicks was an after thought. Pretty much everyone was to her compared to M.J. She even thought Scottie was a Scrub. We had heated discussions over his abilities.

It's not a problem. I told when I started really showing Knick Love. Some start early some start late, it's not that big a deal really.

No it is a big deal. A trueblue fan of the Knicks could never root for the Bulls.

I'm hardly paying attention to that. It's just kind of odd that a so called Knicks fan would become a Knicks fan after rooting for the Bulls until their dynasty collapsed. With that being said, I could care less, b/c if I were in Trueblue's head, I'm sure I'd be regretting right now about switching from rooting for the Bulls to becoming a Knicks fan.

BTW, I hate the Bulls and would never even consider switching to another team, especially them, b/c of MJ. I don't like MJ at all, not as a player or a person.

I don't get what you're saying. Are you saying from my first breath of life I had to be a Knick fan or the very first team I liked had to be the Knicks with no other option to like any other team ever? You know how many people currently like/started liking the Knicks just because David Lee is one and they might be in their late teens early 20's?

Another thing I don't get about the MJ hate. OK I can understand being upset over a guy who was a roadblock to a possible championship. Knicks had their chances when they guy stepped away but some of M.J.'s closest friends are Knicks.

I resent that.

Nobody is more vilified than I am.

That's my point Isles. It seems he's trying to be more vilified than you, at least that's how it comes off to me.

But I didn't start liking them until Camby, Spree, and L.J. were here. Over 10yrs of following them, which counts for something maybe not TRUEBLUE in the sense of the handle but a fan nonetheless. I can see where my handle may throw things off but a handle is a handle.

Were you able to watch them before that? Just curious why you didn't tune into the Ewing-Oak-Mason-Starks-Harper years.

Personally I started watching in 1984 once I decided I wanted to watch pro-ball. Prior to that I was watching college ball and in particular Patrick Ewing because in central jersey at the time, before all of these idiotic regional cable blackout contracts, I got to watch all of Georgetowns game. When Ewing left Georgetown thats when I became a diehard Knick because I liked watching him in college.

Other than that I don't understand the perception that one can't enjoy watching other teams or admiring other players.

Today I admire Dwight Howard through and through. A few years ago, Dirk, until he turned into a big whiny vagina. Back in the day I loved Celtic Sunday on NBC and marveled at Larry Bird, Parish, and McHale.

Nothing wrong with that at all IMO. Rooting for another team or player doesn't make you a non-knick-fan. That reasoning is absurd.

Now there is a prove you are not a true diehard Knicks fan. You do not understand the Michael Jordan hated.

That, my friend, sounds like a typical bandwagon fan. Why all of a sudden, did you become a fan when these guys joined the fold? This sounds like you are more of fan of players as opposed to teams.

If you rooted for Jordan, then obviously, you rooted for the Bulls. He's no longer there so do you still root for the Bulls? Camby, LJ and Spree are gone, do you still root for the knicks? Judging from alot of your posts, it doesn't look as if you are a truebluse fan of this team.

I was tuned in on those guys, most of who you named were Stars, they were the starters/big names obvious standouts during their era. I mentioned more role players back then showing I followed the team although M.J. was my favorite. Imagine being a young kid, you just started learning the game and how to play it at 8-9yrs of age and then not long thereafter you're sitting in your living room watching M.J. drop 63 on an All-Time Great/Champion and Diety at the time just starting his legacy. Magic was the first to show me TEAM, M.J. was the first to show me INDIVIDUALITY, The Knicks were the first to show me COURAGE/FIGHT.
