0.4 Blocks per game, down this year from his career 0.7.

That's progress- halving the rate at which you block opponent shots.

While that may be true it's sad we have to hear a player we gave so much up for tell us his isn't changing. Many still think the guy can turn it around and improve because of his relatively young age and ability but look at what his mental state is.

It's one thing to talk about if he's a good player or not and another to talk about his mental approach to the game.

I'm going to play devil's advocate here:

I acknowledge that Curry has major failings in his game but part of this needs to be blamed on Isiah. It seems that Isiah's only startegy consists of having his guards go 1 on 1. He tried post centered offense all of 10 games during the season. And outside of Jamal there is not one player on this entire team that I think has a defined role. I could go down the list of how Isiah has totally misused almost every player on this roster. Though Professional ball players should always be ready to compete everynight in times like these it becomes very easy to start going through the motions. Because these guys are normal human beings and have less then heroic responses to adversity. Sure the great ones can turn a bad situation into a positive but most players when the losing becomes a constant, apathy and resentment take up premenant residence in a player's approach to the game. It shouldn't be that way but its the reality. So yes Curry needs to do some introspection when trying to understand why this season has gone so wrong for him but I think some of this falls at Isiah's feet.

Who said he was? Offensive scheme centers on Curry he has success. This year he has no defined role he sucks. Not too difficult to comprehend. Now if Curry were truly a very good player he would find success in this system but he's not so he hasn't.

This is all on Isiah! He brings in the player, his character, his work habit.

This was a low rebounding high scoring player. Why try changing him? Isiah is wrong and has created a slow finease team while the league went to a euro style game and opened things up.

The NBA has changed! Gone are Isolation offense, gone are illegal defenses and gone are the fat finese players.

What Was Isiah doing in Europe when he was scouting? Getting suits? Getting laid?

The game changed, forget the knicks of the 1990's, they would get blown out in this game. even shaq knows he gotta run!

Isiah has no such players on this team. Jeffries was his only addition being a 6-11 finease player but he can't shoot!!!!!
