I liked Dominic James last year after reading an ESN article about him and his background. Is he comparable to Jameer Nelson?

It's great to see oohah again... all you have to do to get him to come out is post a thread about Marcus Williams or Channing Frye

It's like fish in a barrel.

In Oohah's world, the Knicks are a .500 team this season and everything is going according to plan.
.500? What are you talking about!?!? The Knicks are "threatening" to win the championship!

Yeah, the Nets are so impressed by Marcus Williams that they traded for a Devin Harris, an inconsistent PG who will instantly start in front of Williams and play 3 times as much as he the second his ankle is healed.

Rod Thorn definitely thinks Williams is the Nets future starting PG...uh-huh!

Jeez, if you are so impressed by Marcus Williams' second good game this season, you should be posting Nate Robinson nut-hugging threads twice a week.

Bunch a' nut-huggers.

Simple fact of the matter is Isiah ****ed up drafting Balkman, who parties his ass off and doesn't focus on basketball.

Williams, Lowry, Farmer and Rondo were all on the board and we needed a pg. Draft a sf that can't start on a team that might not win 20 games and then take a pg at the end of the first round.

Isiah has brought in close to 20 guys and two of them can actually play. Nate and Lee that's it.

The Nets won last night didn't they, and they can actually get good value for Harris, the knicks can't trade anyone on this roster except for the guys i just mentioned.

Channing is threatening. Don't try to steal his snickerdoodle or you'll get a taste of some of this

Isiah was still scared he would damage the weak minded marbury if he drafted a pg in the 1st rd.

Being next door neighbors didn't help the situation either.

JAMES DOLAN on Isiah : He's a good friend of mine and of the organization and I will continue to solicit his views. He will always have strong ties to me and the team.

MS I couldn't agree more. Until the Marbury fiasco this season Isiah has refused to acknowledge that we needed a point guard and no Mardy is not a serious option. Isiah was so stupid because he could have easily drafted a point guard and worked out the rotation to play Marbs at the 2.

WOW, myself, TMS, oohah, efw all point to the fact that this was not a good game for a PG, and furthermore TMS and oohah point out the hypocrisy of celebrating a statline that a guy like Nate on the Knicks has put up previously.

On point 1 there is no debate. It was a poor game for a PG. Taking 18shots means you're not thinking 'pass-first'. A fact underscored by his 4 assists.

On point 2, instead of backing off and admitting their hypocrisy, the same ol hardliners use the time-tested tactic of killing the messenger rather than manning up to the message.

but they kill oohah, they dare not touch TMS who essentially said the same thing.

shame on you weak-ass posters.

1) He didn't dish out too much but he did shoot 50% from the floor which is not too bad. From a defensive standpoint, would you leave Jefferson, VC or Williams open for the Nets on the perimeter? Makes sense that he would be the guy with the ball in his hands at the end of a play, no? Didn't see the game so you really can't go either way on the statline of one game, right?

2) oohah's post was a lot more inflammatory and baiting, no? So it would be natural to jump all over him. Plus, he is still trying to live down absolute statements like Frye being an allstar.

We'll have to ask Bip about that, he is still working hard on the search feature for this site.

Shooting 50% from the floor is great for a PG who goes 5-10 with 16pts and 12 assists.

YES, when taken out of context, 25 points on 18 shots is good.

But taking 18 as a PG and dishing 4 would be considered a poor game foor a guy who is supposed to get others involved. If that was a Nate statline, i'd say the same thing.

There are many in this thread who won't own up to their hypocrisy. Because some other guy on some other team does it, that makes it thread-worthy in their eyes.

I mean, the next time Zach scores 26 pts on 19 shots I better not hear anything about black-hole.

for some reason I remember Thorn mentioning that VC would have to step up as the PG or take a lot of the PG duties now that Kidd was gone.

Did anyone here actually SEE the game? I already mentioned I did not. Oh, and VC did have 7 assists.

+3, All the guys who came out to bash me had Marcus Williams as a "lottery Talent" who was "A starting point guard for the next 10 years" and anyone who points out his suckitude makes them mad while they stare out over their keyboards at their Marcus Williams' nekkid screen savers.

Okay, Question for the Marcus Williams butrider posse: Who has had a better season: Marcus Williams or Channing Frye?

oohah

Good luck Mike D'Antoni, 'cause you ain't never seen nothing like this before!

Wishing everyone well. I enjoyed posting here for a while, but as I matured I realized this forum isn't for me. We all evolve. Thanks for the memories everyone.
