KVH took a lot of crap for being very white, but damm this guy got some major bank over the years.

4mil not prorated is just killer for a week of working out then going home with "tendonitous" is good work if you can get it.

I thought knick fans were a bit harsh on this guy for being soft.

The guy could rebound. Isiah is a dumbass but he did call those who said he was soft. i think he avg like 8 rebs a game!!!!

Is that why he traded KVH because fans and Marbury said he was soft? LOL he then proceeds to draft Channing and Marbury crumbles like a cupcake due to all the NYC pressure.

Kidd is the best player on Dallas - great trade- he will make everyone better.

Thorn's done a great job- but extending Vince, I think, was a big mistake.

a trade of vince for zach would almost make sense for both teams.

He came over in the Spree trade at the time Van Horn had three years and $43.5 million left and will make $13.3 next season- 6 months before Isiah was hired.

He had a good year with the Knicks - but after that he has basically slid in every major category and gotten less effective every year. The last two years (05/06) he was averaging something like 10 ppg/5 rebounds- what is puzzling is that is shooting percentage was always good- but I guess for 14M a year - not good enough?http://www.nba.com/playerfile/keith_van_horn/career_stats.html

The old Kidd wouldn't even be the "best player on Dallas." Dirk was and is the best on that team. Hate him or love him. A guy like Kidd who could never score just ain't as good as Dirk. Now, even Josh Howard is better than Kidd. So I hope Cuban got what he didn't want, a washed up 12/10/8 Kidd who may still stuff a stat sheet, but won't be around in the Conference semis to deal with the young turks like Chris Paul and Deron Williams, let alone Steve Nash.
We could be the Dallas Mavs of the East.

depends how you want to measure 'best' - if you're talking points and boards - yea, dirk & josh are better.

but if you want to talk about being tough, having a winners mentality and knowing how to win, I'm not sure you can even compare them.

Dirk is major league soft - he's a big jump shooting 7 footer who essentially plays 2 guard.

As much of a winner as Kidd is, you would think he would have won something by now. He hasn't. Bad teams? He made the Finals two years in a row. As great as some think he is, he should have willed them to victory. Magic he ain't. Overrated he is, and has always been, in my opinion.

I think you are very wrong about Dirk being soft! There are very few players in the league with his motor and he is a guy that will work his butt of on a nightly basis!!!! I have been able to follow his carreer since he was 16 yo and he has never been soft! Dont mistake his style of play with an unwillingness to sacrifice his body... he just knows very very well, what his strenght is and that is def. his jumper!!!
Now talking about a leader, I dont remember Jason Kidd wining a championship and neither did Dirk of course...
