Toronto was willing to take crawford and trade Vince carter to us and the punk Isiah wanted to keep jamal.

Vandummy won the power struggle with Ernie Grunfeld and Ewing told vandummy what to do after that. And then ewing holds the team hostage and demands a trade and look where we are now.

Don Nelson and his son Don Jr would have this team flying high using Dolan's money correctly.

I had a reason to dislike vandunce, look at him now on the sidelines the guy is a glorified assistant coach(defense)

Van gundy is the best coach we have had in a decade.

Vandunce had the best "personal the knicks have ever had in the 90's.

He flopped every where else he went to prove my point, the guy is creative enough the rules have changed.

He took everything riley taught him and used it against him only because Vandunce had better personal than riley in miami.

How soon we forget, if Allan Houston playoff shot rims out vandummy is fired right after the game.

And if ewing does not miss the finger roll? How about if no one got off the bench in the miami brawl? Gotta consider them all to realise there are some you win and some you dont. Bottom line, van gundy is the best Ny coach in a decade. Cant hate on that.

What coach of the knicks had better professionals and skilled ballplayers

In the last 20 yrs than vandummy ?

Shouldn't he still be holding down a coaching gig in the association with all the bad coaches out there ?

He took Camby, Sprewell and Houston to the NBA finals! Thats less talent than this team has. I bet Van Gundy could get 10 to 15 more wins out of the same roster than Isiah.

Vandummy only played those guys(sprewell-camby) because of injury he didn't even like them that was a ERNIE GRUNFELD MOVE come on silver, he was a stubborn fool who lucked up.
