Isiah may love Nate, but a) so might Dallas and Harris is an excellent lead PG b) Isiah may like "the Jet" better.

Dallas may love Bass, but if they view Curry as a low post beast who will never get doubled nor will his weaknesses be exposed due to the Mavs great talent, Bass is what they may have to give up.

bass is a cheap frontcourt player that can ball, naw they are not giving him up. Isiah would win in that type of trade, so you know it's not happening.

With Eddy it could be addition by subtraction.

Dallas has no low post threat on the team just defensive centers dampier and Diop.

Now that shaq and gasol has bolstered their respective teams, dallas can be desperate.

please don't try to defend this ridiculous trade idea.... why add longer contracts and a worse player.... WTF?

Terry what are you talking about, both Dampier and Curry have 3 yr contracts and Howards is up after this yr.

dampier makes more money than curry and he is straight up trash!!! this trade sucks man. Plus curry has a player option, hell he could opt out....

Dallas would have to take one of our bad contracts before I did this deal. Curry and Jeffries or Q for Dampier and an expiring contract or young prospect (Ager). If we could get rid of a bad contract, it would be worth it to trade Curry.

The sad part is that I could see Dallas rejecting this deal. Eddy Curry is the most overrated player in the NBA, but I think most of the GMs are aware of it now.
Wishing everyone well. I enjoyed posting here for a while, but as I matured I realized this forum isn't for me. We all evolve. Thanks for the memories everyone.

Dallas has the ****ty contracts to trade also.....diop/curry center combo would be nice. They should call Isiah.

Wow this makes tons of sense. They still will rely heavily on Dirk but they will have to double one of them. They don't bump head at all either since Dirk takes 90% jumpers and curry takes 99.9% inside shots.

At this point the Knicks need to just make moves. A few new faces and attitudes could help with the moral of the team.

Or how about this one:

Shelden Williams
6-9 PF from Duke
3.0 ppg, 3.0 rpg, 0.3 apg in 11.6 minutes
Zaza Pachulia
6-11 C / C from Georgia (Foreign)
5.0 ppg, 4.0 rpg, 0.5 apg in 15.2 minutes

Outgoing Players
Eddy Curry
6-11 C from Thornwood (HS)
13.9 ppg, 4.9 rpg, 0.6 apg in 26.6 minutes

I'd love to get Shelden Williams, he's exactly the kind of player we need in the frountcourt - he plays defense, rebounds, doesnt let ANYONE in his paint.

We don't need him to be , just get rid of McCurry.

He rebs and plays defense and scores garbage points, this is what this team is lacking in the front court.

This coming from the guy who says things like "hit the open man" "make the entry pass" "it aint your money" so on and so forth as critical parts of his posts. Your next post that has anything to do with basketball and the Knicks will be your first.

Wait for it......
Wait for it.....
Wait for it....

Here comes a post from Earl, about the good ol days of basketball and some other meaningless crap that is meant to be abstract so it sticks out from other people on this site, even though it sticks out for all the wrong reasons.

Don't worry. Just think about the minutemen of the 70s and you'll soon realize that the Knicks are still going to make the playoffs, so what's the problem ?

can't we just trade for Adonal Foyle instead? he's a lot better looking.
After 7 years & 40K+ posts, banned by martin for calling Nalod a 'moron'. Awesome.

^^^

Eddy's contract could be up after the 2008/2009 season, but he does have a player option for 2 years after that. Dampier's is up after the 2010/2011 season.
