Cleaning? Cos, I think it's going to take more than some Lysol and Orange Clean at this point. I'm talking about something that would require a hazmat suit.

LOL no kidding. I'm thinking sulfuric acid and the largest brillo pad you've ever seen.

You do get my drift though... additions or changes won't matter. You need a complete purge. Nothing else will lead us to where we truly want to go.

Ed would make a great assistant coach, as would Pat. Neither are head coach material. Tom is the best assistant coach in the league as far as being able to move into a head coach position. One of the worst things the Knicks ever did was let him go. Jeff's problem was that he never had a strong offensive coach along side him.

Hire Tom, make Pat a top assistant with a focus on developing the bigs and hire an offensive guy like Armond Hill, Igor Kokoskov, Phil Hubbard, Mario Ellie (who'd probably only leave Avery for another assistant job if it were the Knicks offering), Paul Westphal (though I doubt he'd leave Dallas) or Phil Weber.

True success equals:
Minus Dolan
Minus Isiah
Minus half the players on this team.
I'll never trust this' team again.

I have been saying Tom T for two years now.

NO guarantee he would be a JVG clone. BUt not all white defensive asst coaches are the same. The best take bits a pieces from mentors.

Remember JVG was born from Pat Riley's rib.

Some guys are meant to just be assistants, who knows how much Tom Thibedaux has grown from his days with vandunce in ny and houston. He should have learned after those two stops that jeff's system does work for the long run.
JAMES DOLAN on Isiah : He's a good friend of mine and of the organization and I will continue to solicit his views. He will always have strong ties to me and the team.

Lets be real, Larry is HOF with major cred and Isiah was not a bad coach and this team just won't respond to either.

I think its fair to say it ain't the coaching!
