Oh, really Isiah ? Then are you willing to explain why New Orleans and Portland are having great seasons ?

I can already imagine his excuse on that one; "We don't have a "Chris Paul" or a "Brandon Roy" on our team. It's just a matter of time until we get one of our own. Until then, Wilson Chandler and David Lee will continue to get limited time."

Huh. You bloggers don't seem like real Knick fans to me. You must be confused. This is a Knicks board, not a Celtics board.

Isiah is the leader of this team. He and Marbs are here for good, so just go root for the Celtics if you don't like him.

He has put together a solid core of young guys who just need time to gel. Don't forget, the team was old and slow when Layden ran things around here.

Isiah is exactly right when he says that the Knicks have become a better basketball team. It's true that this has not translated into wins - I never said the team is perfect - but I really feel that Knicks are about to turn the page and start a new chapter.

I sense that Isiah is beginning to understand how to get the most out of these guys. When he does, the dust will settle, he'll get the team on track, right the ship, safely land the plane, and sweep the detritus from the Garden.

Jones is the Frank Caliendo of UK.

this is a scary false statement this is something that is setting up some kind of really bad move to compound the terrible one's in place.

if we look at

C-Curry
F-Randolph
F-Q Rich
G-Crawford
G-Marbury

That's actually one of the most *expereinced* lineups in the NBA in terms of nBA years. Take into account the best players in the NBA
Lebron James-22--F
Dwight Howard-22--C
Chris Paul -23--PG
Chris Bosh-23--PF
Brandon Roy--23 --SG

I really just want IT out and a new vision and voice in their. Stop the madness

If Dolan really believes this, then I really really really hate to see what the future holds. He's gonna force Isiah to trade the draft picks even if their's a LeBron and we'll never be able to build a core.

And we had Luva telling us all along I SAY UGH the GM injecting youth into this franchise was pretty much a Godsend but I SAY UGH the coach can't make it work. And this is the guy in which all the youth took part in the Garden Coop to oust Brown and have I SAY UGH the coach lead them.

How would Misterearl put it?...... "DA YOOTS AIN'T THE PROBLEM BUT YOO MAY BE"

Hey if you're gonna make a point just make it. Don't bring me or anyone else into this when we haven't even made a comment in the thread. This to me is baiting and it's childish.

To speak for myself and make it clear, when in the past i've spoken in positive tones about the young players on the team, it has everything to do with the direction I believed we were headed in and the potential I felt we had in those young players. This goes back 3 years now, so obviously some time has passed for some of those players and they are now older and no longer babes. Also I still like the potential of a Chandler and Mardy as players who can help us if given a legit chance. This has nothing to do with how Isiah has run the team this year. I have be extremely critical of how he's handled the roster and the use of the young players on the team. So don't try to bash me for what he's doing now. This isn't what he promised us or how he was approaching things before this season. We had many reasons to believe that we'd see him be more supportive of using our young players. All that ends when he coaches as he has this year and proves false to his statements and actions of the past.

I think at times we make mistakes that inexperienced players like Nate, Balk or Mardy make but you can't blame this entire season on that. He's just making excuses for his failings. Only recently since Marbs went down and Q missing a few games, has there been any truth to the young players making mistakes that cost us games. I actually feel that as a team we've really missed Nates presence which is quite a statement in Nate's favor. It shows how much he's improved. I certainly noticed his absence. He makes things happen now and i'm glad to see his growth. I think he can still get better, which is a good thing.

watch him trade away our young players

Exactly, and when that doesn't work, we'll be told that it's because we're not young enough and they have to rebuild with youth.

It's a vicious cycle. At least it is if you still care about this team.

Man, is this guy smoking the crack pipe or what? I haven't seen any "evident progress" whatsoever. NONE!!!!!!! And that "we can't get any younger" stuff is a crock of bull****. You can always get younger and better. Open your eyes Isiah. Jesus, it's like he runs/coaches this club with a blindfold on.
