And we had Luva telling us all along I SAY UGH the GM injecting youth into this franchise was pretty much a Godsend but I SAY UGH the coach can't make it work. And this is the guy in which all the youth took part in the Garden Coop to oust Brown and have I SAY UGH the coach lead them.
How would Misterearl put it?...... "DA YOOTS AIN'T THE PROBLEM BUT YOO MAY BE"
Hey if you're gonna make a point just make it. Don't bring me or anyone else into this when we haven't even made a comment in the thread. This to me is baiting and it's childish.
To speak for myself and make it clear, when in the past i've spoken in positive tones about the young players on the team, it has everything to do with the direction I believed we were headed in and the potential I felt we had in those young players. This goes back 3 years now, so obviously some time has passed for some of those players and they are now older and no longer babes. Also I still like the potential of a Chandler and Mardy as players who can help us if given a legit chance. This has nothing to do with how Isiah has run the team this year. I have be extremely critical of how he's handled the roster and the use of the young players on the team. So don't try to bash me for what he's doing now. This isn't what he promised us or how he was approaching things before this season. We had many reasons to believe that we'd see him be more supportive of using our young players. All that ends when he coaches as he has this year and proves false to his statements and actions of the past.
I think at times we make mistakes that inexperienced players like Nate, Balk or Mardy make but you can't blame this entire season on that. He's just making excuses for his failings. Only recently since Marbs went down and Q missing a few games, has there been any truth to the young players making mistakes that cost us games. I actually feel that as a team we've really missed Nates presence which is quite a statement in Nate's favor. It shows how much he's improved. I certainly noticed his absence. He makes things happen now and i'm glad to see his growth. I think he can still get better, which is a good thing.
