Knicks would have had Jordan and Drexler together and they would have choked each other winning nothing.
A "superstarphuch!!!". Remember Sampson/Hakeem? Twin towers. |

I thought Point-God would be more for the Guards with a flare to their scoring, dribbling and Passinsg.
KJ, Gary Payton and Stockton are not point-gods. They were as vanilla as they come. Now mister jackson....... that's a point god [Edited by - anji on 02-01-2008 12:57 PM] "Really, all Americans want is a cold beer, warm p***y, and some place to s**t with a door on it." - Mr. Ford

Thank You Anji, for posting that. Mark Jackson is the most underrated point guard of the past 20 years. If we look through all of these highlight reels I guarantee you he had the most creative passes. He was also great about making the right pass even if it was not fancy.
The only thing that annoyed me about the Jackson reel you posted is that it was almost all Indiana. Back when he had Gerald Wilkins, Johnny Newman, Kenny Walker and Ewing filling the lanes he had a ton of uncanny passes for spectacular slams! oohah Good luck Mike D'Antoni, 'cause you ain't never seen nothing like this before!

Posted by Anji: You got to be kidding me right? You mean to tell me Stockton didn't drop dimes that made you lose it, Stockton would dribble cirlces around fools Cousy style, his scoring was iffy but still effective. Payton was the first point guard I saw perfect the art of throwing full court lobs with precision, well before Jason Kidd. He played with devastating flare. He dropped dimes to Shawn Kemp that made you chit your pants. Matter of fact most of Kidd's game comes from Payton in the streets of Oakland. And Payton had a baseline spin move from the post that was brutal and one of the better scoring point guards in his prime of any point guard to play the game. One of the first points I've seen go full speed on a fast break, do a hard spin in the middle of the court going full speed, and finish with his off had going away from the basket. I don't think you understand how hard that is to do. Kevin Johnson wasn't as good at passing and dribbling but he could score and he would dunk on you. You do know he's like less than a handful of point guards in NBA history to punch on HAKEEM THE DREAM, in a PLAYOFF GAME mind you, straight up. Just for that move alone makes him a Point God.
