This is a tough question because there are so many bad shooters on this team. I honestly don't know who to vote for. To be fair, I'll leave out the big guys (Curry, James and Rose) and just list the guys that should be able to shoot from 15-20 feet. By worst, I don't mean shooting pct as much as who do you have the least faith in hitting a shot. Remember when Oakley, before he earned some trust, would shoot a jumper and the entire crowd would start moaning before he even let it fly? That's what I'm talking about.

Thats true. But people have an irrational hate towards him. He is used wrong. If Isiah had used him instead of Curry and Zach so much in the 2nd half of the GS game we would've won.

From his reputation especially last yr his was truly the worst but this season he's made minor improvements. Collins on the other hand apparently never got with Clyde to work on getting rid of his HITCH. 23% fg% on the season is down right embarrassing. Any of us could duplicate that and we all know we Succk!

how are u supposed to use a career 5 & 5 player other than the way he's being used? the proper way to use him is to make sure he's not shooting the ball & just to focus on playing defense & grabbing rebounds whenever he can get them... he's a scrub man, let's not fool ourselves here... Balkman's shot is crap too but the guy has a lot more talent than Jefferies if u ask me... that's probably why Jefferies doesn't get any benefit of a doubt... i'm sure if u'd have put Big Turd in this poll he'd have gotten the most votes.

outside jumper? Has to be Mardy. Has to be.

He's the only one that has trouble hitting the rim.

Although he can hit floaters and stuff in the lane to make up for some of that.
Alan Hahn: Nate Robinson has been on a ridonkulous scoring tear lately (remember when he couldn't hit Jerome James with a Big Mac in early January?)

Jeffries is noticeably a better shooter that those guys Collins and Balkman.

Jeffries actually seems better on jumpers (and deep jumpers) than close shots. Actually the closer to the basket the worse he gets at it seems.

Anyone who didn't vote for Mardy should be taken outside and given 40 strokes less 1.


All of us have better jumpers than Mardy. What a horrible basketball player. He needs to be sent to the D league and give his minutes to Chandler. I'm sure his jumper has to be better than Mardy's.

Before last week, I would've said the player on the Knicks who has the worst jumpshot is either Balkman or Jeffries.

But based on recent performances, I would give that honor to Mardy Collins. The more and more I watch Mardy, the more I realize how terrible of a basketball player he is. He posesses no NBA ready skills whatsoever. And although Balkman's and Jeffries' jumpshots are flat out bad, they're SFs who were brought in to do other things. I think Mardy was brought in for a jumpshot more than those 2 guys, and he hasn't done anything remotely close to providing that.

Mardy Collins is just not a good player, and his jumpshot justifies it.
