For those who missed this article in the New York Observer last month:

Isles this was the article. I said Isola and it was John Kpblin bit it had quotes from Isola and other beat writers touching on what I stated. Thanks for posting the official source which only puts LB in brighter light and our franchise into complete darkness.

All emperies collapsed.
And MSG will not be an exception.

The last drops of Knicks blood in my body is slowly oozing out. It's unbelievable that I now watch AND look forward to EVERY Bobcats game...and the Bobcats aren't even that good!!! Now whenever the Knicks and Cats are on during the same night, I'll watch the Bobcats and when thats over, I'll watch the tape of the Knicks game...fast forwarding through most of it.

I recommend every Knicks fan adopt another team. The feeling is exhilarating.

And the way the Garden treats the media and their fans is disgusting. Dolan is such a moron and doesn't understand that the more you treat the media bad and cover everything up, the more the media will bash you AND fill in the blanks because you refuse to tell the truth. Idiot Dolan, dummy doesn't even realize he's responsible for every story that bashes the Knicks. Just tell the truth you idiot.

This isn't Star Wars. Dolan will be here for a long, long time.
Thank you, Rick Brunson.

They are a weird franchise. Have their ownership issues been resolved? If so, are they finally committed to winning?

I watch the GSW, the downside is the majority of their games start times are 7:30p.m.pst. So their games start after the Knicks, therefore I'm pretty much forced to watch the BRICKERBOCKERS. I also watch the Raptors quite often. To tell you the truth in this day and age, the structure of the NBA/CBA, it's really hard to stay stuck on one team and be loyal. If you really think about it most of us are fans of the team not really by choice but because of place of birth/locality and tradition. It's cool to like a team because they are home town or because your great great great grandpa started the fan lineage taking one of the seeds to the first Knick game and a bond/relationship was established. But times are changing. I find myself watching teams that portray my personality or plays the game in a way that represents what I'm about. Not to mention the affect certain players have on you as a fan of the game. I'm finding my love for the game of basketball trumps all. It's such a beautiful sport when played right and with excitement. Nothing comes close to it IMO. Like how can you not like a player like Chris Paul or Joe Johnson or Steve Nash? You root for these guys uncontrollably, you can't help it. Seriously would any one claim their Knick Fanfare if we constantly fielded a team full of Vin and Juice Baker? Well I guess we are fielding a team of Kentucky Fried Curry but you get the point. I just feel tradition as the yrs go by becomes an enslavement so to speak, like you had no other choice. We live our lives based on choices and freedom to have them. The downside to giving up is no one wants to bandwagon but once again stars don't even stay on one team their whole career. Take for instance today we had a thread trashing Paul Pierce because of his punk displays on the court but let's say I SAY UGH trades Lee, Q, Jones for Pierce everyone would be jocking him like he was All That. All his Diva crap goes out the window once he dons orange and blue. Heck even NBA player kids don't like their dads as their favorite player nor the team their dad plays on.

With all that being said this Franchise makes it almost impossible to root for them.

I guess the "STFU Period" has passed and the old weasel is going to tell all now.

Sad thing is what he's saying is believable.

I believed Isiah made some promises to Larry before he came aboard then reniged and Dolan made the pot sweet with a 50 million dollar contract with starphucking with LB being the main attraction.

Who would doubt it, we read about everyday..
In the worlds largest media outlet, your setting rules.....hmmmmm.

Did Brown do his research before taking the job, did he speak to Riley, Don nelson, JVG, Marv Albert, did he even holla at patrick...

JAMES DOLAN on Isiah : He's a good friend of mine and of the organization and I will continue to solicit his views. He will always have strong ties to me and the team.

Excellent post. I got the league pass the first year it came out, that is the main reason I got satellite. I agree with your point. I have been a knick fan since I was 8, my hero on the knicks growing up was bernard king, I was a teenager then, but I just loved what this guy was about, I loved Ewing, but not as much as Bernard, Larry Johnson was another favorite of mine, as well as Allan Houston. What these guys had in common besides talent was integrity, desire, and a will not to cheat themselves or their fans... As you said, sometimes we become slaves to teams where we live and that is sometimes unfortunate. I watch a lot of games, that is why I think I am free to speak on a lot of players, I spend a ton of time watching other games, it is what I do. As you said, basketball when played the right way is the best sport in the world if you ask me.. this is why I love watching the suns, if anything, they re-introduced the fast paced style and actually have a system with players that fit that system... Guys like nash, Joe johnson, caron butler, I love those guys, they play the game, the right way..

I was looking at a old game I taped, it was the knicks when they had Sprewell, Houston, childs, camby, LJ and a declining Ewing... I look at that team, and that whole starting 5, with the exception of childs(and he was a tough cookie) was better than every player on this current knick team. I think people forget how good of a player spree was, and how much of a professional Houston was, and how much of a talent camby was, and How much of a real leader LJ was.. wow, that guy was a leader. 1999 was one of the best year in basketball for me to watch. Watching those guys do what they did, was so much fun... Believe it or not Blue, but that was just 8 years ago, but it seems like an eternity.. this is what rooting for this franchise over the past 5 years has done. It has almost rotted our memory of what good basketball was.... Yes, it is hard to be a fan... The CBA handcuffs GM's to their mistakes as well as the fans.. I think they are going to have to restructure that, as well as reduce the years of guaranteed deals.. It is going to destroy this league...

The common denominator in all our problems is Dolan. From the feud with Van Gundy and Ernie Grunfeld on up he is where all our problems lie. His role should be to have no role at all.

I remember Spree and L.J.'s talents moreso with their first teams than when on the Knicks... GSW and Charlotte. But I remember their leadership, hardnose championship caliber play as Knicks. These two commercials were Classics when basketball was still good. The old Knicks teams would blow the current Knicks team worst than the Celtics did this season.

Larry Brown was senile, addled, and confused - he had to be to sign both Jalen Rose and Steve Francis - so of course he was imagining things like spies and ownership/upper-management incompetence.

Sprewell with Webber

Larry Johnson

Those commercials were classic.... I remember webber well back then, he was a hell of a player.. Sprewell was also one of the better players in the leaugue then also, and I am talking about a time when jordan was in his prime, pippen, payton, sprewell held his own..

with the knicks he was a hell of a player also.

I assume you live in cali?

TKF you copped kicks from me you know I don't live in Cali! I live in a Central Time Zone. Funny you should mention Payton that guy was an absolute monster in his prime. The best 2way guard of the 90's next to Jordan. I remember about 4yrs ago he made Brevin Knight cry when they played the Bobcats I believe or it could have been Cleveland. So bad that Brevin ended up getting ejected, I think that same yr he got Lamar Odom tossed also. Lamar even made post game comments along the lines of "That's how people get hurt in real life because their mouth gets them in trouble, I've never been disrespected that bad in my life on the court". Prime GP was slept on by so many fans.

Sorry bro, nice try. I don't care how many times isiah or dolan say it. I refuse to believe that Larry brown wanted 2 of the biggest cancers in team sports (not just basketball) added to a team that had stephon marbury (biggest cancer in the history of team sports)

Just because 2 of the biggest liars and lowlifes to ever own and runa franchise say it, doesn't mean it's true

Exactemundo, stop blaming Brown for Francis trade. It takes two to make a trade and those two are the owner and the GM.
TKF on Melo ::....he is a punk, a jerk, a self absorbed out of shape, self aggrandizing, unprofessional, volume chucking coach killing playoff loser!!

yeha - I suppose your right - the highest paid coach in the NBA - really didn't want Jalen Rose (who played for him in Indiana) and didn't want Steve francis to show up Marbury. Yeah - it was all Dolan and Isiah. Antonio Davis - also - after all there was such a crying need for J. Rose and Francis considering you had EXACT duplicates in Crawford and Marbury.

Who you gonna trust?

The guy who has a history of hating those kinds of players and doesn't have the authority to make a trade.

or

The guy who has a history of making exactly those kinds of trades for repetitive, expensive, selfish offensive minded players and is the only one with the authority to make trades?
