Similar to what's been said already, if you want Amare, it's likely going to be some combination of Eddy Curry, David Lee, Renaldo Balkman, Nate Robinson, Mardy Collins plus our first rounder if and only if it winds up being a top 3 pick and a future first.

Amare is a proven commodity, so immediately that costs a lot more. That being said, I do think we could blow the Suns out of the water with an offer if we wind up having a high pick and I do think Amare would instantly make us a better team, even though he wouldn't fix the rest of the roster issues we have upfront. At least Amare is someone to build around.

Wishing everyone well. I enjoyed posting here for a while, but as I matured I realized this forum isn't for me. We all evolve. Thanks for the memories everyone.

we have 1 shot of trading for Amare... that is if he suffers a career threatening knee injury & we land a top 3 pick in this year's draft.

Thing is- he already has suffered that injury.

Makes you wonder why the Suns would be willing to deal him.

There has to be more to the package. The Suns are not dumb enough to trade Amare for Pau straight up.

I can't believe we're even discussing trading Jones. He's untouchable.

I have to say: I don't think Amare is the kind of guy you mortgage a franchise for.

I think if we got the right PG, Curry could be ALMOST as effective as Amare. We need a real PG. Through the draft, not some lop-sided trade we lose in the long run.

what? WTF? who is that right PG? jesus? it will have to be, because Isiah is the one who paid him all that money when no one else would, made him the focal point of the offense, mortgaged the teams future and this lazy azz curry ,still refuses to jump for rebounds, move, block shots and play like a MAN...... please, what the hell is some other PG going to do......?

Don't bring Amare here. As soon as he gets to NY he will become a bad player, just like everyone else.

Is that what you really think, Or is that just under Isiah's watch.
