If the Knicks weren't going to trade 9th pick..I wanted Collison. He's active on the boards..he hustles..good passer..shooter..post up..quick. He does it all.

As far as Lampe...I've never seen him play. I'm not going to go by what some sports writer says. All I know is that he possibly won't be available to the Knicks for AT LEAST another three years.

good question, but I would like another scorer off the bench. Hatten is a electric player, I like him, a lot of guys went earlier than I thought.. Kyle Korver would be another good pick... but swish, lampe will be on the knicks this year, with the knicks lack of height, this kid will play, I mean for christ sakes, we gave run to Travis knight!!

I like Korver ALOT...

They just said that Lampe is still under contract is Madrid and he won't be available to play in the NBA..that's why he fell to the 2 round...

Ok we don't take HATTEN, that is a mistake but we take a project. Not bad, let him play in Europe and come over in a year or two with Milos.....

NY got the tallest player they could find and for all those postas crying for size to reb and protect the basket(vranes 7'4, that is what we got. I am pleased with the draft, now lets get rid of spreee and i would be elated.

How is that a mistake not taken Hadden, nobody else took him either , especially with all those guards takenn before him cmon man if he didn't play for Stjohn you wouldn't even know who he was. ROFL

OK..the Knicks now a bigger jam at the 4 and still don't have a REAL SF. I don't see a trade coming....I guess we'll be here again..same time, same channel..next year

they better buy it out, no sense in leeting draft picks sit in other leagues - let them play on this team and build something new in NY

were you guys watching the draft??? They said something about FIBA TELLING the NBA that Lampe WILL NOT play in the NBA until his contract is up in two years..and even then Madrid has an option on a third year.
I'm sure there's ways around this but an NBA team can only pay up to $350,000 on buy-out

I don't follow college bball, so I can't judge the picks. I'm reading a lot of mixed reactions tho. I guess it's to be expected. No pick was going to satisfy everybody. Let's just hope they work out.

Collison will be better than Sweetney, IMO... Lampe woudn't play here for two years anyway. Let him develope over in Europe and get playing time. He will be 21 in three years! AND fully developed like Gasol. W'ell buy him out after two years. Vranes is interesting... he seems like a hard worker.
