Wouldn't Randolph only hurt Yi's progress? Unless they plan on playing him at SF.

Yeah, the only trade Milwaukee would make here is Simmons and Dan Gadzuric for Zach. Even then I don't know why Milwaukee would do it. The only thing I can think is that maybe Milwaukee has a mandate to make the playoffs this year.

I've heard that Herb Kohl has the GM there (forgot his name, I know it's Lenny something) under the gun and he's feeling the pressure. Maybe he feels Randolph is a quick fix? I sure hope so.

how about this:

MIL trades Yi, Voskuhl & Simmons
MIL gets Pau Gasol

MEM trades Pau Gasol
MEM gets Yi, Voskuhl & Simmons

NY trades their cap flexibility
NY gets more disappointment & a malconted Zach for the next 3 years

Congratulations, you've found the trade that doesn't even make sense for the Knicks.

When it comes to Zach Randolph, the Knicks are damned if they do and damned if they don't.

Herb Kohl also hates spending money. Acquiring Randolph would be sure death for the Bucks GM.

I'm afraid of how we can possibly move Zach and end up getting worse.

Honestly, if we're trading one big headache for a bunch of smaller headaches (Gadzuric, Simmons), we should be looking to not send over a talented player like Balkman (Sure does explain his lack of playing time as justification to move him since he doesn't 'fit in') or get back a protected first rounder-

and if we do end up with Gadzuric & Simmons, we ought to explore follow up trades to try to move them as well.

If we trade we will end up with players with worse contracts or worse attitudes not like we make good trades.

I think Zach would fit in on some other teams- with the bucks- they have bogut who plays in the high post and is an excellent passer - yi is probably a softy and could play sf for them- they're missing a low post presence -

the only contract in the NBA that's worse than Zach's IMO is Troy Murphy... let's not give Isiah any bright ideas.

Antoine Walker is right up there too for that matter

actually i'd rank Rashard Lewis' contract as probably worse, considering they're paying an 18 & 5 player $16 mil this year & he'll be on their books til he's making $24 mil in 2013! OUCH!

I like Antoine Walker idea.
This trade will make Isiah killing on the street much more likely...

Trading Balkman is a terrible mistake. He's better than Lee because he can defend multiple positions and has skills that nobody else does in the league.
Alan Hahn: Nate Robinson has been on a ridonkulous scoring tear lately (remember when he couldn't hit Jerome James with a Big Mac in early January?)

Apparently Milwaukee hates Michael Redd now... ZBo + Balkman for Redd? Yes please. I don't think that's too likely, so ZBo for Mo Williams + filler?

This is an odd one. Bucks don't have any contracts than run longer than Zach other than Bell and Williams. I don't know why Simmons is complete crap right now, but if he played like last year he would be a good SF for us. He shoots the 3, grabs some steals, gets some rebounds...

NO TRADES NO TRADES NO TRADES

fire the coach then let this group of imbeciles' contracts expire. let's suck it up for a few years and then begin fresh with new faces in the coaches chair and on the rest of the bench.

it's like when your lawn goes brown and filled with weeds, do you keep watering it and watering it hoping that it will turn green again? no, you go out and buy new grass and lay that s#it down. then you sit back and admire it.....we have nothing but brown grass and weeds right now.

Naw I see zach going to Houston, Adelman love offensive gifted players.
JAMES DOLAN on Isiah : He's a good friend of mine and of the organization and I will continue to solicit his views. He will always have strong ties to me and the team.
RealGM: Randolph on trading block, could up in Milwaukee
