I think Walker would be a good fit for the Knicks. The reason he is a ball hog, is because the celtics, besides Peirce, really dont have another scoring threat. He has to take shots. If he come to NY, and McDyss is health, then he would probably be the 3rd scoring option behind houston and mcdyess. He would probably get like 10 shots a game.

While I do agree that he is probably a better post up player than he is at taking out side shots his shot selection is still very poor. Agreed that if he was reeled in and coached on not taking so many poor long range shots - which he's obviously not good at- and focus on being an inside first - outside second player, I believe he would be a really good player. But also, what's the point of being able to "take over a game" or be unstoppable during the regular season and then punk out during the playoffs? He let K-Mart punk him out of his game. New York would eat him a alive. But even with all of his flaws to say that KVH is better than Walker, now that's a joke. I would only take Walker if all other available, BETTER options were exhausted.
BTW I hate the wiggle.
NY KNICKS 4 EVER! Will we ever find players like Anthony Mason, Xavier McDaniels, Patrick Ewing again? I hope so.

VMART, these are the same people who think SPREWELL is the 2nd coming of JORDAN !!! TWAN is a chucker !!! KVH is more balanced !!! KVH averaged 17pts 8rebs per game !!! Without taking a lot of stupid shots !!!

karnivore, the fact that you down spree, call walker a chuker and praise KVH, shows that you are not thinking clearly...

There is nothing more annoying than to see a scrub do stupid thing on the court. Personally I hate the wiggle I hated the helecopter and the airplane by Mark Jackson, I'm going to see players play basketball not some player do a jig. Thats why I like players like KG and Duncan. For all their smirks and fist pumping it shows passion for the game. Where as the wiggle and helecopter shows attention seeking behavior on the players part. I would much rather prefer the city dancer dance and wiggle.

My belief is that most people who are pining for KVH in a Knicks uni have really only seen him on the SportsCenter highlights. Calling the guy soft is an offense to other soft players in the league.

If and when he is a Knick, these same people will be posting how he 'should've done this' or 'should go down low' or whatever. KVH hasn't gotten this reputation undeservedly. The guy has not and cannot bring consistently and when it counts (not that NY has played many games that 'count' in the last couple of seasons! )

I've also read that maybe here with 'no pressure' (I'm assuming that means since NY is not expected to win anytime soon) he'll perform at a higher level. Problem is, this guy played in NEW JERSEY when NJ blew. Yeah, he had his 25pt, 15reb games, but also had way too many 6pt, 3reb games. We already have someone like that: Allan Housless.

Guys, I told ya before and I'll say it again, we all know this KVH for Spree trade is going to happen. We just might as well buy a batch of Alka Seltzer, Tylenol and Prozac and get ready for the season. I can just see it now, Keith "Soft as Cotton" Van Horn and Allan "Angel Soft Tissue" Houston staying on the PERIMETER!!! Hey it could be worst, I saw in the Post that they Knicks are considering Shawn Bradley!!!!
I would love to be the cheese in a Beyonce/Ashanti sandwich.

Considering? I'm of the belief that we'll see Shawn in a Knicks uniform before we see KVH. On the other hand, let's look at it this way: together they brought such success to NJ that we should be glad to have them!

JAMES DOLAN on Isiah : He's a good friend of mine and of the organization and I will continue to solicit his views. He will always have strong ties to me and the team.

I gotta disagree with you there, Pike. I think KVH has TONS of talent. He just lacks the cojones to use it consistently and when it matters!

Between Walker and KVH, bring on the chucka!!

Both players common fault is failing to show [STEP up] in the post season. And with that said, don't think there is no room for improvement for BOTH players.

I don't think, from a NY frame of mind, KVH could step to the Garden like TWAN can......Playa is correct about showcasing.

And to answer your question, KVH has too much balance
