Why do you think teams like the Jailblazers of old and or Sin-cinati Bengals have tried to reshape there identities; and convert the negative attention that they received into a highly entertaining sports performance? (Pardon the run-on grammer students) Because they recognize that the value is in pleasing their fans and avoiding the stigmas associated with their teams. Winning is the ultimate cover-up.

Ahhhhhh..........um.........I'm wasn't talking about the blazers. I was talking about Dolan's weirdness and how it possibly got that way.

Snorting garbage trucks full of cocaine (to combat the feeling of being a hopeless moron) is the likely explanation of his weirdness.

Wow, I guess I am' wrong about Dolan being afraid of being sued again. Or maybe this is just a gang up on me to protect the fine image of sharpton. You two didn't even take the theory into consideration. Just shoved it under the rug like it was nothing.

I'm being nice when I say this. If anyone thinks for a moment that I' think it has anything to do with cocaine or stubborness, then you haven't really paid much attention to what I was saying. I used to think it was just plain stubborness and stupidity, but 'no one' is crazy enough to let that kind of money go and not' be afraid of making the wrong move again. I made the point. I won't argue it again.
I'll never trust this' team again.

I don't think sharpton has anything to do with it. Dolan doesn't seem to care what anyone thinks of him and his decisions. I think he simply thinks that Isiah is a good GM and is going through a rebuilding phase where things look bad in the present but will get better later on. In other words he's basically a rich executive CEO version of nixluva. I expect that he will decide that Isiah has failed and fire him at some point though, I think he does have some standards.

If I had to guess Isiah is a very likeable person in person. perhaps extremely likeable. That is probably the biggest factor behind Dolan thinking he deserves so much patience. That and the fact that Dolan is loyal to the people he likes to a fualt.

See, the but... umm, ahhhhhhhh crap that you posted earlier is exactly why I started with the slick talk. You are extremely sarcastic. But its cool, like I said before this is a forum for debate... I could never take this personally. Just be ready to receive what you dish out, thats all!

As for the latter part of your comment. Yeah, I got my Knick Crip Set ready to attack... no sir, thats never been the plan to protect the image of Al Sharpton. That's not even remotely what I've been doing.(All be it, he is not the reason for the calamities..nor is he the final determination as to whether or not Zeke gets canned) However, seeing as though you believe that "we" are attacking your post.. Had it ever occured to you that it may likely be as a result of your irrational argument. Listen... I'm not mad at you, you are certainly entitled to express your own beliefs.. that being said, I reserve the same rights to refute where necessary. Again, thus the reason "debates" are developed. Lastly, I did consider a portion of your theory.. again, my final statement was:
4949, I'll end by saying I understand your point but it just shouldn't be the primary focus as fans... I know it's not for me!

Homie you mad cause Im stylin' on you.... thats all!

This was a very strange thread.
Wishing everyone well. I enjoyed posting here for a while, but as I matured I realized this forum isn't for me. We all evolve. Thanks for the memories everyone.

I'm not knocking the theory... I'm cracking jokes at Dolan's expense That's all that post was about.

I already gave my interpretation on what you said, and I already admitted based on some stuff I read that I wouldn't be surprised if t wasa contributing factor... I do not think it is the lone factor though.
