i don't think Balk was overrated... he hasn't gotten the opportunity to play... he showed plenty enough last year to warrant increased minutes this season, but again Isiah chooses to dictate his rotations based on salary instead of talent.

balkman is well underated when you're playing sparingly behind some one like qbrick its hard one energy guy against a team of bums he chandler and morris are all underated and misused

for a second year player, balkman is more than doing well.
if they snap out of it and just play (like the first few weeks of the season and summer league) they will be able to get out and run more.
But missing layups and turning the ball over put us in a 20 point hole where by the time you would give a balk or chandler or any of the kids burn it's a lose lose situation in terms of freelancing their athleticism and talent to capatilize on taking chances.

Babyknicks, we had some horrible losses in preseason. The first few weeks of the season were just as bad as the weeks are now too. And Balkman is not doing more than well for a second year player. Supposedly he's just not serious about basketball.
