he seems divorced from the pistons -- they've had nothing to do with him since he retired -- so if what he left behind with them was 'all ties' then he's right on schedule for that here too.

That mother ****er ****ed this team TWICE!!! First, he vetoes a trade to NY, which I assume would have gotten Patrick his ring to "retire a Piston." Then, he proverbially burnt the Garden to the ground. So, he doesn't have anything to do with the Pistons anymore? That mother ****er. You thought I wanted a piece of him before... now I'll have no problem getting into Hulk-Smash mode.

We are definitely the best 8-22 team in the history of the NBA. That means something.

Thats not true. Although the Heat are 8-24 now, at one point they were 8-22. So you would have to consider them the best 8-22 team in the history of the NBA. Afterall they did beat our lame asses this season.

The best legacy or tradition this man could leave is one starter that figures prominently in the team's plan for the better part of a decade.

Is there any player on this roster we can all agree fits that description? Lee seems to be the best bet, but even if he is a starter he is a complimentary piece... so I'd say the answer here is no.

It's only been 4 years and you want a starter already?

It's a Tradition to chant "FIRE ISIAH" at the Garden.
