No trades until the season is over, than start trading to get draft picks. The number one pick is more valueable than any player currently on the Knicks.

To be perfectly honest with you, I think Antawn Jamison is the worst 20points and 10rebound a game guy. There is just something about him that never really adds up, he's not a bad teammate and he's not too selfish, theres just something that never adds up with him. Maybe VDes is right, maybe it's those 3's.

Marbury is the worst 20 and 8 guy.

You guys who are pining for Jamison need to re-evaluate your opinion of Zach Randolph...or re-evaluate your opinion of Jamison in context of Zach Randolph. Either way there's a major disconnect here that doesn't make sense.

Enough trading guys to add to this roster. Let's find someone to build around. All our assets should go in that direction.

Why? Just because they have somewhat similar stats in two categories? That makes no sense.

Have you ever seen Antawn Jamison play? Watch his game closely...you'll come up WITH ALL the same criticism you espouse for Zach's on a regular basis. Ballhog, shoots too many perimeter shots, takes every shot, has played on a lot of losing teams. Untill this year he hasn't always been a focused rebounder either.

All I wanna know is 'hows his defense'? Can he defend his position better than most of our guys?

if we trade curry he has to go west i dont need that to haunt us

Because they have a better coach than Isiah, named Eddie Jordan, who just might reach Eddy Curry. After all, last year he was our best player. And, they now have 3 players who score over 20 points and there are only so many shots to go around. Q plays defense and doesn't need to shoot. When Arenas comes back, Q is a better fit than Jamison. And Haywood could come off the bench or play as twin towers with Curry.

Q is a better fit than Jamison? Q is one of the worst starters in the NBA. He is not a better fit than Jamison anywhere, in any situation.

If the knicks are gonna play with zach and curry they have to start......so that shot blocker would have to come from the 3. Not many difference makers available......unless you are talking about josh smith. Josh smith in a packege for david lee and a packedge could work but atlanta just got shelden williams back who is now healthy alone with zaza and the mighty al hortford......

they gotta trade 1 of those 2 & bring in a bigman who can defend the post & block shots.

Brandon Haywood is a possibility that i brought up many times... their team is lacking any post scoring presence... we can trade a need for them for a need of ours.

another guy is Dalembert... not the brightest bulb in the carton but at least he blocks shots & doesn't need to have the ball in his hands to fill his role.

i can't imagine it would be all that hard for us to get guys like this... realistically we're not coming close to landing a Marcus Camby or Josh Smith type player unless we throw in that lottery pick, which i would not be willing to do unless we were getting Kobe or someone very close.
