Let's say you were the GM and you had full authority to rebuild the team however you wanted to. Would you trade Curry and/or Zach for expiring contracts, assuming a team was making this offer and assuming nothing else was in the trade (no other players and no draft picks)?
Yes, trade both for expiring contracts
Trade only Curry for an exp contract
Trade only Zach for an exp contract
Trade neither for an exp contract

Fine, they're playing in college or HS right now, and maybe if we play our cards smart, we'll get an all star caliber center or pf like most other championship teams do: IN THE DRAFT!

Did you watch the past summer league? I said it then, and I'll say it now- I'd rather watch that group win 20 games than our crub roster win 30.

And you want to know something? That summer league roster would decimate ours in a game - assuming you included Balkman, Nate and Chandler on it.

That is a sad statement.

And that is your upgrade - an NBDL caliber player who wants in. Go watch Invincible if you want to know about effort vs. talent.

because I didn't think of it! Why would you want that option? I'm guessing it has something to do with getting the other player's stats and trade value up? I don't think that would work because everyone knows these guys' reputations. (You can also get their stats up plenty just by playing them more min and calling a few extra plays for them anyway.)

The idea is you keep one b/c its hard to find a post scorer, though both are now establishing themselves useless in all facets.

I was wondering the exact same thing. And when was the voting? (Was it early in his presidency or perhaps right after 9/11 or right before war--all times when many people understandably rally behind their president?)
