isiah is in pure survival mode. his legacy as a player is basically tarnished outside of detroit. his players don't like him. the fans don't like him. but he's still cashing his check. gotta love the nba and those guaranteed contracts.

the league needs to have a major strike which results in a hard cap. otherwise expect this downward trend in the quality of the league.

sorry for the tangent, yes, isiah is a douchebag and needs to go.

OK I'll admit that Zeke will have to go but I don't care if they don't like him they are susposed to be professionals. Just play the damn game. They was kiss his a*s when he got all that money for them. This is no excuse for not being a competitor. Curry was a big mistake by Zeke and we can't change it. If the rest of the season keeps going like this lets just go to the lottery it's the only way we are going to get a franchise player. I still question the people Zeke have training Curry. Curry needs to go. Everyone is still making those corner 3s on us with no defense. I just don't want another coach coming in here and we win 33 games and it knocks us out of getting a top draft pick.
We need to end the over the cap crap. If a team wants to spend more money to get a player then let the team do thier thing. To hell with those small markets we are protecting. Let's be like the Baseball league if the Knicks wants to spend let us spend.

he made alot of players alot of money and they basically just tuned him out. in that respect, it's on the players. but he also lost them with his shenanigans with marbury. so that's on isiah. everyone is to blame and i would say 90% or more of the current roster/coaches/gm/front office have to go. but nothing happens until isiah is gone first.

I agree with you more than 70-90% of the roster/coaches need to be overhauled but I don't see what the rush is knowing that this season is lost anyways. Lets wait this season out get a high draft pick and start in a new direction with a solid foundation getting a good GM should be priority not some stop gap GM and coach. Good reseasrch needs to be made and good judgement should be key.

The Knicks have made deals in the past without thinking aboout them and scrutinizing them deeply if anything Isiah should be a learning example of things not to do. Sometimes doing nothing is the best move in the NBA. We should have already learned that, Let the season playout Isiah will be gone eventually and we will be better for it.

I wonder if Isiah is spewing garbage to us- does he double talk, snake hiss and back stab amongst his players? And if so, is that why they've tuned him out?

How soon people forget. Forget Bynum--all the BS in the world wouldn't convince me he was ever contemplating taking Bynum no matter what. Remeber he DID say that if he had pick 1 he would've taken Frye[Over guys like Chris Paul Deron Williams etc.] and that Channing was a version of Tim Duncan. There was NO other draft prospect--he fixated on Frye--remember he went by himself to spend 4-5 days in AZ 8 weeks before the draft. Andrew Bynum had his open workout and the only GM that showed up was Billy Knight. I don't recall that a Knick scout was even present and the workout was in Manhattan! So Bynum being 1b is BS. IT fixates on one player and that is it--it's all done. And so far he has been severley overrating the talent and how to mut NBA players together--so what other job can he do?

This just makes me sick everytime i see this kid, i know some posters really wanted him, I was one and everyone is quick to judge and roll out isiahs track record, and say you couldn't do this or that, but the fact of the matter is isiah has been a subpar drafter at best here. Outside of David Lee he has been very average.

And if he didn't panick, and just took this kid help onto thomas and was patient we would be buidling a championship team with a nice core.

Bynum, Lee, Gay/Roye/Foye, Lowry/Rondo/Farmer Noah etc with plenty of contracts expire, Lebron and Wade headed for free agency and the knicks ready to have a dynasty for the next decade. But of course since its logical and doable its easy to judge. But in realty if you have half a brain you draft buys that are mentally tough, don't take chances on career losers and bring in veterans like a darrel armstrong/anthony johnson anyone that isn't going to take multiple years like james and jefferies for no production.

It's a shame so many fans have to suffer because the fat lumpy ****sucker james dolan has a trust fund and wants to make isiah suffer on the bench instead of getting rid of him. But Larry Brown was at fault, and one only wonders where we would be if isiah was shown the door.

Not listening to excuse after excuse. FUCK YOU ISIAH! Bynum couldn't handle the pressure, Frye was the most mentally soft player in the draft, every player you bring in Tits Curry, Jefferies, Zach have the mental makeup of children and accept their medicore careers. Trust fund players that cash in and cash out....

This is BS. I dont believe he ever considered taking Bynum. Just more spin from the spinmaster.
Since when did Isiah ever take the fans into consideration when making a franchise decision. If thats the case, why not listen to the fans and step down.

He would have traded Bynum by now and blamed his immaturity as the reason.

Imagine sending a 17 year old to this sleeze pot and what a bad ifluence this place would be for the kid.

Im happy he is doing well, but lets be real, it might not hava happened here.

And Just for the Record the Nazar Kurt Thomas combination is better than zach and eddy......

And Isiah tried to justify that trade by saying it would have cost 8-9 million to resign naz who is signed for the midlevel.

having the most demanding player in the league (Bryant) who has already run the most dominating of the past 10 years out of town, had to learn to contribute on a PLAYOFF team the last two years, and bynum would be exactly where he is on the lakers if he was on the knicks. what, going 10 games under 500 and playing in front of crowds chanting 'fire isiah' would have been too tough on the kid? gimme a freaking break.

yet another reason to FIRE ISIAH this guy has GOT TO GO

The only thing his "contributing" players have contributed to is losses.

See, every GM makes mistakes. However, Isiah is so great that he corrects his mistakes with bigger ones!
