4949, those 90s Knicks teams came around at a bad time. Just in between eras of us having some good and great scorers like Houston, Sprewell and Bernard King. Had Ewing maybe not fallen on his wrist though, or if we didn't get in that brawl, or if Ewing didn't get plantar fascitis in 1999, we absolutely could have beaten the Bulls (Besides in 1999 obviously) and we would be contending for a championship. The teams in the early to mid 90s were missing 1 of the 3 players that I mentioned above. Other than that, they were championship calibre.

Plus it's not our fault we were playing Jordan. Same with just about every other team in the league.

I think that like almost everyone else on this team, Balkman has packed it up and quit. the difference in his effort from summer league and even early season and now is too different for it not to be mental. he's gone... lost another one.

the question now is how long will it be before nate, lee and fred jones follow.

I think coming into the season Balkman thought he was going to be a key player on this team. Yet Isiah only wants to play him when the team is getting blowout. NOt only that Q is shooting enough bricks to make the 3 Little Pig feel jealous about making a brick house. Really can Balkman shoot worse than Q?

balkman gets faked off his feet way too much to be a defensive stopper. i'm not sure if it's inexperience or just him being fed up and trying to up his block stats, but i don't think he's helped the team the way he's played this season in all but a few games.
