the best statement was

"Real Knick Fans have day jobs"

A joke. And to top it off with a blow out win the same night, they should picket daily.
Let's go Knicks. That's amare

I think theres another Protest on Sunday Dec 30th that I posted about. Once a week protest on a Sunday wouldnt do alot. Dolan wont care though. He probably, not unlike his buddies in the Republican party, laugh at protesters. Like those poor people have any chance of affecting the wealthy people's choices.

In the end Dolan will keep Isiah to spite people. he has to prove he's the man, and no one can tell him what to do. Only daddy can, and he doesnt care.

How is he supposed to know that the talent could or could not work together? The Celtics (not that I am saying they are anything near the Knicks) could have brought in Garnett and Ray Allen and still faltered but it happened to work out. The Nuggets landed A.I. and they did not become that much of a better team with him on board.

Good GMs have a decent idea of what types of talent work together. Poor GMs do not.

So you are telling me that Danny Ainge is a better G.M. than Kiki Vanderweghe?

I want somebody to logically explain to me how Isiah Thomas is not the scapegoat of this debacle? Most analyst had the Knicks going to the playoffs this yr, so his decisions could not have been that bad. When he leaves guess what, we will still have the same team, the same contracts, and the same heartless players...so don't blame Isiah.

Okay, I was hoping you'd give some examples. All projections by casual fans here and "experts" that I saw had them missing the playoffs.

Alright but your still not answering my original question. If the Knicks fire Zeke only to have the same results, what difference did they really make? His worse move was the Eddy Curry trade.

See, the premise that another GM would have the same failures as Isiah is a false premise. A lot of GMs wouldn't have been so desperate to make moves. If Isiah merely stayed put, let contracts expire, not traded for big contracts, we'd be under the cap with a ton of youth. And that's merely with a very basic plan. I think a lot of GMs would have more success than Isiah.

Adding a ton of youth would mean that the team is rebuilding. Dolan did not want Zeke to rebuild. He wanted a instant contender and that is what Zeke tried to do. That is why I think Dolan has so much lee way with Zeke now because he just did what he was asked to do. Zeke got us a younger and talented team than what we had compared to when Layden was GM. The fact that they have not developed chemistry at this point is not his fault.
