Ok so aren't GM'S paid to look for the next "KOBE,GARNETT,McGrady watching highschool games? Can't they trade the pick after they pick him up +who didn't need a big Man ? Plz that is no excuse, you might as well say they over looked him because of "racism" You can find a lot of foolishness being done when it comes to highschool players and in college(LUKE WALTON) BEING LOOKOUT HELP, ROBBING A CANDY BAR MACHINE IN HOTEL DURING SEASON..
JAMES DOLAN on Isiah : He's a good friend of mine and of the organization and I will continue to solicit his views. He will always have strong ties to me and the team.

Playa... these guys have these jobs for a reason. Any draft it's easy for fans to sit back in hindsight and say... yeah, we should've picked Amare. Thats very easy. Last year we could have had Wilcox, Hilario, or Stoudamire. I wanted Hilario because he could play center. They played one year... a career is not made in one year. That said... of course trading the pick was a disaster.

Don't feel bad, Rain. As I've said before, Kiki made the Hilario pick... Layden NEVER would have taken him if he was making the selection.

So who would you guys have picked ? Some of you say hindsight is 20/20, but seems to me you got you're finger on all the right buttons on who we should take. HA HA HA

I think NeNe would have been the best pick for the Knicks last year because he plays center like Rain said. I was a big Wilcox supporter at the time until I found out he wasn't even 220lbs. I thought the kid was 245. Right now Nene would be the center for the future. Then the Knicks wouldn't be still looking for a big man.

So we are here in 2003 still trying to get a center. I hope Layden doesn't trade Dyess' expiring contract away.

He also needs to see what it would take to make Walker a Knick without givign up a draft pick. I'd send Spree and Othella over there for Walker and one of their 1st rounders.
