so we go from eddy + zach to pau + zach...yeah, that makes sense.

Atleast Pau and Warrick are tradable assets to work with though.. I don't think its about making lineups work anymore, I think it's about acquiring assets. Whether or not you think Gasol is an asset I guess is the real conundum of the deal.

are we still in the process of acquiring players so we can move them? at what point do we make moves for players that we want to build with? this is like giving a piece of crap car a new paintjob.

DJ, I totally agree with you. I would love nothing more than to just blowup the roster and be in the lottery for 3 straight years and I've been saying that for 3+ years on this board... I'm just really starting to wonder if Dolan will ever allow that to happen. As long as Isiah is here we have to make moves like this, thats the sad truth.

If the same Gm /Coach isn't going anywhere why do you expect something different.

The guy is stubborn , he wants to do things his way regardless of the outcome.

If Jerry West were to do any of the trades suggested in this thread he needs to get fired immediately. I don't care what his history as an exec is but you just can't screw over a franchise that way, and then keep your job....... unless you work for dolan.

Don't guys think Pau would work better with Zach? At least he's more comfortable stepping out to the perimeter on occasion. And on D, he blocks shots.

I got this from a guy in memphis (do not know how credible) who said that Warrick is on the block for sure and Gasol doesn't fit how the grizzlies want to play.

I have my finger crossed because we all know Gasol wants out of Memphis and Curry needs to go to a smaller market where he could start over again.

Too much Pressure and media in NY for him.

I believe the salaries match, could someone check that out.

So in other words you were talking BB with your friend who has a hunch Warrick is on the block and reasoning Pau is still unhappy so you run with it and propose a BS rumor on this site.

Great Work!

but now i think about it...i think the real trade would be malik + dlee + balkman + nate for pau.

and we're gonna trot out a frontcourt of pau + zach + eddy.

then we're gonna trade for troy murphy and kenyon martin.

kmart + murph + pau + zach + eddy - that spells WINNER!!!

5 underachiving PF/C's. Hmmm. We've tried 5 shoot first PG's, and 5 undersized PF's, why not try this...
