Isiah isn't to blame. He's just the coach. It's not like he drafted and signed...oh ****, wait a minute.

Yeah, it's his fault. His fault for getting a team of losers without one with a winning pedigree. I do blame the players for the end result. But I blame Isiah for having no logical vision or ability to put a winning product out on the court. He's incompetent. He's probably a great guy. But so is my father. And trust me, you do not want him building a Knicks team.

Wait. My father would know NOT to sign Jerome James, though. Damn...that's kinda scary, isn't it?

Exactly. The players stink. The man who brought them here screwed up. Now the man who ran through what four coaches because he thought those coaches weren't properly coaching his product according to his vision - CANT DO IT EITHER.

Isiah Thomas is to entirely blame for this mess. The players are to blame for being one dimensional lazy chumps - BUT - if Isiah did his home work - he'd have known that. Everyone who traded us these guys KNEW IT.

Yet, Isiah saw each player as clay, like a rookie that he could mold into a star or complete player. He hasn't been able to do it with any of them. So Isiah is at fault before anyone else is.

I'm done trying to figure out if it's the players or the coach. I'll just blame the GM.
Only way to cover the stench of losing...

i'm sick of this doodoo about Isiah making O'Neil an All-Star. O'Neil was GREAT with the Blazers, he just never got any playing time. he goes to the Pacers and gets minutes and wallah, he's good.
some Knick fans accept mediocrity as excellence .... I don't!

I will give dolan this- by forcing isiah to coach this group, he has no cover- as gm, he brought them all in. as coach, he's calling the shots.

Jermaine O'Neal is absolutely no position to comment on another team's downfall since this guy misses games because of sprained finger nails.

Kinda just seems like a shot at a team he's about to face. And Isiah's his boy and whatnot.

He's to blame but we've seen our players lay down worse than the coach.

Exactly you cann't point all the players just like you cann't point all towards Isiah. But to say that he's a great coach thats idiotic.

Isiah should be blamed for any shortcoming of the players if the shortcoming was well-known before they came here (like poor effort for most of the team).

Both team and coach is to blame. I've seen players grow playing on a sorry team. This team I don't know what to say.

This team constructed by Isiah and coached by Isiah.
He took it all on himself and failed miserably.
Bbal is ultimate team sport. Nobody can do this alone.
And Isiah is not an exception. He is just delusional egocentric.
Almost sick man.
Somebody should have a mercy and put an end to this embarrassment.
I am afraid that something bad can happened…
