Isiah isn't to blame. He's just the coach. It's not like he drafted and signed...oh ****, wait a minute.
Yeah, it's his fault. His fault for getting a team of losers without one with a winning pedigree. I do blame the players for the end result. But I blame Isiah for having no logical vision or ability to put a winning product out on the court. He's incompetent. He's probably a great guy. But so is my father. And trust me, you do not want him building a Knicks team.
Wait. My father would know NOT to sign Jerome James, though. Damn...that's kinda scary, isn't it?
Exactly. The players stink. The man who brought them here screwed up. Now the man who ran through what four coaches because he thought those coaches weren't properly coaching his product according to his vision - CANT DO IT EITHER.
Isiah Thomas is to entirely blame for this mess. The players are to blame for being one dimensional lazy chumps - BUT - if Isiah did his home work - he'd have known that. Everyone who traded us these guys KNEW IT.
Yet, Isiah saw each player as clay, like a rookie that he could mold into a star or complete player. He hasn't been able to do it with any of them. So Isiah is at fault before anyone else is.
