Not a problem for me.
I never bought anything related to Knicks for 8 years and never went to the games in 3 years.
MSG is inside my Comcast basic package so it is free also.
They are not worth even 10c anyway.

I think they tried the same thing when Layden was GM...didn't work..people still came to the games...It might be too early in the season to gain momentum...The Knicks could still turn it around..I don't think the town has soured on them because the games are still packed..I think if the Knicks are still losing in Feb and March then Vescey may get a following...Too early still...

Also, a move like that will harden Dolan even more...He'd not the kind of cat that will let people tell him what to do...I think letting Zeke hang himself, and he is doing a good job of it, will do the trick...

There are other ways to hurt Dolan, if the house is still gonna be filled. Remember' the Knicks make a ton of money through television and other merchandise sales. I have already been in for awhile now. No television and definately no games or merchandise has been spent for by me. Join the revolution!!!

Bro, U can't hurt a guy with a billion dollars who is arrogant with protest...Have you seen MSG Network lately...It sucks...They could make a ton of money upgrading the programming, better sports news programming...Better interview shows...Better local programming...they don't care...they are liquid...Hurt Dolan, please...

I'm a little confussed. You say 'u-can't hurt him and then say 'hurt him please'. Which do you believe?

I meant it this way hurt him????....please...meaning you can't hurt the dude...

You don't know what's important to him and what hurts him. If he's like most multi-millionaires, then every penny is extremely precious to him and he can never have enough. Fans choices are to continuing paying Dolan or to stop paying Dolan. It's really not a hard choice.

I will never boycott the Knicks and I will watch every game. The guy owns the team and Isiah is running it--that is the bottom line. I'd rather constructively believe in solutions rather than acting *like* Dolan. I do think IT needs to be changed but he likely won't. If Stern has been pushing Dolan for this--it's not going to happen. Dolan has a Napolean complex and a couple of billion $. There is nothing you can do to him. Hopefully IF things stay in the shtter--he will be forced to make change. But I for one will not leave my team that I have rooted for for over 30 years because of a bump in the road.

Papabear Says

OK OK I will boycot one quarter of the next game. AHHH wait!!! I mean 2 min. Thats it.
Peter Vesey needs to take his sorry butt over to baseball and have the baseball fans boycot baseball for the players taking inhansment drugs. Baseball fan for the past 15 years have been duped.
Peter Vesey's thing is personal against the Knicks . Tell him to boycot baseball.

Every penny is precious huh...he paid LB 18 mil to go away...He's giving Annucha 11.6...Paid LJ big money...Paid Luc Longley big bucks...JRose and many more...So now he is worried about his pennies...Ok..

And he fought to the bitter end in each case precisely because every penny is so precious to him. You brought up some great examples.

How could you possibly know that? And regardless of the reason he fought, the mere fact that he fought means you're gonna have to come up with some other reasons to support the notion that he doesn't care about money. Fighting for every penny, regardless of the reason, doesn't help your case. A good example would have been cases where he did not fight for every penny. (That never happened, though!)

He said so...he said he went to trial with Annucha or how you spell her name on principle..

Who cares, this is a stupid argument anyway...

He said so...

And you believed him??? What else is he gonna say? He's not gonna say "I'm going to trial because I'm a greedy bastard who needs every penny I can get"! I'm still waiting for you to come up with one example where he took actions that were inconsistent with the idea he cares about every penny he can get his hands on.

If the fan has no voice then why should anything change?
If the product stinks, then stop complaining or stop buying

I don't tape the games anymore, except I tivo and watch on delay so I don't have to watch the commercials and MSG's propoganda which is really bad TV branding.
I don't like whats happening, but the nets are coming to brooklyn.

Interesting to get info how much of Knicks merchandise is still getting sold.
I doubt that to much. I cannot find anything but Lee shirts in the sport shops.
And how many companies still want to associate their commercial with Knicks.
I can see Acura, American Express, AIG and looks like they are more into Rangers not Knicks.
Which endorsement deals Knicks players have? Any? Anybody?
What about ticket sales? Can they be great if you can buy them for 15$ before the game?

This Product stinks all over the place. And Dolan knows this already for a long time.
I don't believe it stinks on purpose, but it is exactly what Dolan family wants to take in private.
So why they will worry?

Just come up with one counter-example (or agree with me). You started off thinking you could come up with counter-examples but you appear to have given up once those didn't work.

James Dolan's principles:

1) Stay away from the media.
2) Whatever you do, make sure it involves bringing money my way.
3) Be nice to my ego.

Am I missing anything? And Ironically, all those principles got in the way of eachother during the Anucha trial and he and Isiah made fools of themselves and Anucha ran away with 11.6 million dollars that she probably doesn't even deserve.

Holfresh, I am being dead serious and am really not trying to start a fight. Are you good friends with Dolan and/or work for him and/or does he have a high regard for you?

Now that the team is totally falling apart, I think we're seeing which of the lovers were just blind all off-season and have now come over to the dark side and which are actual paid MSG employees.

Second it.
This is only one sane explanation for Knick fan to support Dolan and IT band.

I did...I came up with about 5 but you said but you said those proved your point...So...

I also said that he went to court with Annucha on principle as he stated but you said you didn't believe him...So what else is there to prove...Your head is buried in the sand and you want more examples....
