Have u reached the point where u want the team to loose so it can get a good draft pick or do u still think they can turn it around? Me, ever since the 2 philly losses I been rooting for this team to loose for the better of the franchise and let me tell ya... its a whole lot easier than rooting for them to win!!!! Ps going to cancel cable
rooting for them to loose so isiah gets fired and we get a top pick
still want them 2 win we have a chance
Eddy Curry is fat.

I'm so ahead of my time it's scary. No wonder I've never been fully appreciated on this board. I guess now at least I'm understood.

I voted "I want them to win" because I cannot hope for them to lose. But fukin A man, I gotta give you some credit. You did say a lotta this stuff would happen. Its fuking said really. I used to ask bartenders to turn Knick games on. Now I hope they forget about Knick games and turn on college sports instead.

I would only root for them to lose if I was told that the very next game the team loses would get Isiah fired. Then by all means I would root for them to lose that ONE game knowing it's for the best.

I can't root for them to lose for an entire season or even an entire month. Just can't do it I see no point in it.

Today I just kind of watch them with a blank stare and sometimes when they are so bad I find myself laughing.

I hear you man. I cannot wait for Isiah to be replaced. I was wrong about him. He f***ed up my team.

you'd be disillusioned if you said that losing isn't the best thing for the team.

losing will lead to:
a) isiah getting fired
b) a top pick to build around

its simple, there are NO benefits to winning this team SUCKS

This will be good for season ticket holders.
They will know for sure that they can save money.
Also it will be cool for us. We will be able to by tickets for 10-15$ and take a seat anyware in the Garden, like it was on Sonics game.

For the first time, in my entire life as a sports fan, I'm cheering for my team to lose.

u've never rooted for the Jets or Giants to lose after their playoff hopes were gone that year? i can understand not rooting for your Mets to lose since top draft picks in baseball don't always pan out as often as they do in Hoops & Football.

season is only 2 months old and I'm fed up already. Man, I miss the playoffs seasons so bad. I realize now that I took them for granted and used to laugh at carwreck teams like the clipps or dallas (before the 3 js)...

things change after all. Maybe our turn will come again, we can be doomed forever, can we ?

The thing is that it's futile to root for the team to lose. For one thing it makes it harder to move players than it already is. We aren't guaranteed of getting a player in the draft that we could expect to help turn this around. There's hope that we could, but it's a crap shoot.

Isiah placed his chips on this group and for the most part he has to see it thru, cuz there's no rescue team coming to save us. It would be one thing if we only had one or 2 big salaries to move and then look to clean house and rebuild, but we're loaded up with big contracts and we're 4 years from the end of most of them. We have to look for this team to win.

Nixluva only the haters are really rooting for us to throw games or root to loose. We Have Rumors that Artest is back on the Trade talks again, which means that Zeke ain't about to give up this season.

I've always felt Artest was meant to be a Knick. This should be interesting, to say the least.

Anyone that calls isiah "zeke", is more of a "zeke" fan than a knicks fan in my opinion. isiah isn't ready to give up on the season, he's ready to give up 2 more lottery picks for brad miller.....

some guys will defend this piece of garbage isiah until the bitter end....

defend this

I could never rootfor them to loose no matter how bleak things are. The hold idea of rooting for them to loose seems foreign to me.

I can understand why there are so many that are ready to do that. It's from pure frustration at this point. They see no other way for this team to finally improve and get to the point where we could be contenders. It is true that you need a star to really have a shot to win it all, in most cases. I felt that we could at least follow the mold of a Detroit type of team or even Utah and get to the finals that way.

It's so rare to get a guy like a Shaq, Duncan, Kobe, LeBron or Wade. Heck i'd love a Nash type, but really it's not as easy as just being in the lottery. Rooting for the team to lose just to be in the lottery is something you do later in the season after you know you have no chance. It's just too early to go there.

Obviously something has to be done, cuz we need help. PG is a huge need. SF is another huge need. Heck SG too. I've said all year that our perimeter is more of a problem than our post players. The lack of execution and leadership from the perimeter players has been our biggest flaw. It's easy to just blame Curry or even Zach, but really our guards lack of ability to stabilize the offense or defend consistently on the perimeter is the reason our bigs have looked worse than usual. When the guards make the good pass, move the ball and hit shots and play at least decent D, we have a much better chance to win. Aside from the slumps, we know what we get from Zach, Curry and Lee. I'm never sure what we will get from the perimeter players and that's the big issue.
