The Layden era teams would defeat this one, like so many bad teams do.

What's sad is that Layden had to do it with one hand tied behind his back, by having to go with "character guys", and with Dolan forcing his hand in many deals. Isiah's been able to do whatever he wants and still ends up with the softest guys imaginable.

exactly... how many times have we seen teams w/inferior talent beat the Knicks because they put forth a much better effort? this is just a badly constructed team, but that doesn't mean the players on this team are all garbage like so many posters around here like to say they are.

Griz have more talent than we do... IMO they should be way better than what their record shows

First of all, they both suck so who cares. With that said, how does Houston qualify as a Layden player? Grunfeld/Checketts signed Houston.

He re-signed him, keeping him on the team.

Just because Isiah turned over the roster 4 times, that doesn't imply thats what GMing is supposed to be about.

I can still say that i'd keep Lee, Balkman, Collin's, Chandler & Morris. Seem to be the more serious of the bunch, considering most of them barely get any time to prove it. Notice' as I say, their all our young drafted, one to three year guys.
I'll never trust this' team again.

Yeah, but they didn't sign him to 100 mil. contract.
