Despite the character assasination I've put on him in this thread, believe me that GM's will give up something of value for Eddy. But remember they will see him for what he is- a 25-30 mpg matchup problem at center. Against certain teams he can be very effective because of his physical ability and give you tons of easy baskets down low- but he's not an anchor or a player who deserves to play 35 mpg b/c he doesn't give you enough in other aspects of the game. But there is value to his scoring.

Just don't expect 2 lotto picks back.

Can you name any starting center that is worth that Eddy?
I am not talking about scoring points but about overall impact on the team results.
He is a liability on defense, killing the offensive flow of the game, required to get some specific players to cover his deficiencies, is a time bomb because of his health and conditioning, and has very soft character. A lot of WNBA centers are better and need lover size bra.

You do know there are lot of crap starting centers in the NBA. Most guys are just placeholders.

Curry's value has dropped from last year so we can't expect much for him. i'd move him to the Bucks for Gadzuric and an unprotected first round pick. This years draft is pretty deep so it would benefit us to get two picks. With our onw pick, we could possible plug one of our gaping holes in the backcourt (Rose or Gordon.) Then with the pick from the Bucks which will be towards the back of the lotto, we could get a big man (Thebeet, Jordan or Harding).

I think Crawford is someone we should look into moving as well we need winning players and he is going to be showcased with marbury out running the point.....

Miami for Jason Williams is something i would do because you clear a contract and start to get rid of players that don't help you win...

i guess what this boils down to is this team is uncoachable.

curry's value is in yielding a guard/sf.

Lets just do this already....Curry should go....Zach should stay....Knicks need a real small fwd and center and need to settle on a point guard for the future. not rocket science

I say good riddance to all. There isn't a single player on this roster other than Balkman and Chandler I'd keep. Lee I would keep as a role player off the bench, but would ship out in a heartbeat if we could package him in order to dump Zach Randolph, who I don't think anyone in the league would want. Actually I would even trade Balkman if it meant shedding long term contracts in order to completely rebuild.

Presti wants nothing to do with the trash that's on this coast. As far away as he could possibly be is the reality of the matter.

What's the point of getting rid of Lee if we can move Curry? I don't see one IMO.

Marbury is a player we have to live with, but luckily its just this season and the next and maybe he'll just retire early.

Presti wants nothing to do with the trash that's on this coast. As far away as he could possibly be is the reality of the matter.

Everyone says so and so doesn't want X, but the Sonics, with players like Durant and Green would take an amazing amount of pressure off of Curry. Curry would give them a nice matchup option to dominate up front. They are not likely to find a better FA and are just chock full of SF's at this point.

Craw may be another story- he is regarded a little differently out in Seattle- but I can understand that being a player they don't want. But Curry is good complement to the young core over there. If you could just get Wilkins and Watson for him that's worth doing too IMO.

Dude isn't Presti cut from the Spurs cloth what in your right mind suggest one of his first moves to build pieces around Durant and Green would be Curry. Presti will follow a pattern that PDX's GM is following, high character, hard working, motivated, multitalented, defensive players.

What Curry would be is a 25-30 mpg a game complementary player that the could use to take advantage of matchups. If they could get him for bit players like Wilkins and Watson I think they would find a way to fit him into their plans.

Obviously you don't want to load up on low character, lazy guys but its also about creating a system that utilizes the strengths of the players. The Spurs have made players out of lesser talents and lazy guys themselves.

The Knicks had the wrong expectations of Curry and tried to build an offense completely and team around him.

The only way to trade Eddy is to find another idiot/moron combination like Isiah/Dolan.
But this can happened only once in million years.
He will be with the Knicks until his contract will run off together with his NBA carrier.
Same is true about Marbs, Zack, and Jerome.
We can however get some garbage for Jeffries and Craf as they can do something useful when kept in check.
The rest of the band is not good enough compliment to make anybody take the above mentioned sheet from our hands.

Nothing from Presti's resume suggest he'd consider such a trade for named player. It's nice that you're trying to think for Seattle but believe you me Curry is not in Presti's plan. Especially with the big men talent possibly entering the draft this summer.

Thanks, I guess I should refer to you as Presti since you have his brain implanted in your own head and know exactly what he wants. BTW, what's his favorite food?

Good, we can tell him that Curry will bring some along with him from the Garden. Now we'll definitely trade for him.
